She was selected to train with the shooting team of Ningbo Sports School under coach Yu Lihua during her fourth year at primary school. At the #Tokyo2020 Summer Olympics, Yang Qian won two gold medals - one in the women s 10m Air Rifle Women and the other in the 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team.
