The homeownerโs love for fashion is found throughout the space with sleek black and white decor, lush fabrics and chic accessories. The kitchen features a Calacatta marble slab backsplash and large island, which is perfect for preparing food and hosting family gatherings. Walls are outfitted with abstract works of art, while unexpected pieces like a velvet blue couch and a shag rug add interest and texture to the space. Touches of chrome act as large-scale pieces of jewelry, highlighting the high-fashion feel throughout.

Paknam Krabi Seafood (เธเธฒเธเธเนเธณเธเธฃเธฐเธเธตเนเธเธตเธเธนเนเธ) is a Halal Thai seafood restaurant in Krabi, Thailand. Read all the details about this restaurant here: http://www.eatingthaifood.com/2015/06/paknam-krabi-seafood-halal-restaurant/ Located in the quiet area of southern Krabi town, Paknam Krabi Seafood (เธเธฒเธเธเนเธณเธเธฃเธฐเธเธตเนเธเธตเธเธนเนเธ) is a Halal seafood restaurant that serves a delicious selection of fresh seafood dishes - most of the menu is made up of southern Thai dishes. When Ying and I went, it was a special occasion, and we were both really hungry. We started off with one of my ultimate favorite southern Thai dishes, goong pad phet sataw (เธเธธเนเธเธเธฑเธเนเธเนเธเธชเธฐเธเธญ), shrimp stir fried with curry paste and stink beans. What I loved about the version here was that it was nice and flavorful from the curry paste, and they also added in some coconut cream to make it even more rich and creamy. The shrimp were big and meaty and fresh, and the stink beans were just slightly stir fried so they were crisp, and retained all their flavor. Another dish I canโt get enough of in the south of Thailand is gaeng som aw dip (เนเธเธเธชเนเธกเธญเธญเธเธดเธ), one of my favorite dishes. This gaeng som, a sour spicy curry soup, included fish and aw dip, which in Thai are taro stems. It was very good, nice and spicy, and flavorful from the fish and turmeric. Pad pak liang pad kai (เธเธฑเธเธเธฑเธเนเธซเธฅเธตเธขเธเนเธเน) is in English melinjo leaves, and in this dish they are stir fried with egg. Itโs one of my favorite vegetable dishes. This version was alright, but not incredible. I think it could have been stir fried on a bit of a higher heat so it would have more of a smoky and dry flavor. Finally, for our final mega dish, Ying and I ordered the Yam kai meng da (เธขเธณเนเธเนเนเธกเธเธเธฒ), a fresh horseshoe crab, mixed with strands of green mango, shallots, chilies, and herbs, and dressed in lime juice and fish sauce. It was delicious, very refreshing. The little eggs were like little yolks. Paknam Krabi Seafood (เธเธฒเธเธเนเธณเธเธฃเธฐเธเธตเนเธเธตเธเธนเนเธ) is a good restaurant in Krabi town, Thailand, and they serve strictly Halal Thai food. Itโs also a nice location, a good place to sit and enjoy the evening. Is it really necessary to have an Information Manager when working in a building information modelling (BIM) environment? Find out in this short video with Fred Mills, Co-Founder of The B1M. โThe short answer is yes, but it doesnโt need to be a new appointment to your teamโ explains Fred. BIM demands a high degree of control and integrity around how data is created, organised and shared both within companies and within the project teams that they work for. The Information Manager (sometimes known as the โBIM Managerโ) is responsible for managing that process. The role includes establishing and managing the common data environment (CDE) โ a shared online space that everyone in the project has access to โ and overseeing the process of information management and exchange between all parties. โItโs important to understand that the Information Manager isnโt the person that is designated โto do BIMโ for youโ explains Fred. โBIM is a culture and a way of working that affects everybody, in all parts of an organisation. Information Managers ensure that information exchange and collaborative working are facilitated in the project processโ. In the United Kingdom (UK), the need to appoint an Information Manager is made explicitly clear in the BIM protocol and the wider suite of British Government guidance documents. Those documents also make it clear that the role should be undertaken by an existing person within the project team; such as the Design Team Leader or the Main Contractorโs Design Manager. On a point of personal opinion, Fred explains that he doesnโt see a role for stand-alone BIM Managers who look after things like software platforms, in-house product libraries, training or project support: โThose who disagree are completely entitled to their view, but for me those things are essentially part of IT, the design management function or something for designated BIM Champions; people who are well placed within your organisation to assist and help with BIM implementation in the early stages, alongside their current roleโ. He goes on to recognise that for very large businesses, organisations at the very start of their implementation journey or on large projects, the business case for those stand-alone roles certainly does exist. Numerous courses and workshops exist specifically for Information Managers and Fred points out that these can be very useful for organisations or individuals adopting a more disciplined approach to information flow: โItโs a big, cultural step for many organisations and training and guidance are always worthwhileโ. You can find out more about the role of Information Managers (or BIM Managers) from the UK Governmentโs BIM Task Group here: http://www.bimtaskgroup.org/scope-of-services-for-information-management/ For more BIM videos subscribe now - http://ow.ly/GxW7y The B1M is the definitive video resource for building information modelling (BIM). Well, welcome to Italy! This week we re exploring the fashion capital of Europe. We re here in Milan. But of course there is more to do in Milan than just go shopping. So we re going to be showing you 20 attractions around town. We had 3 days in Milan so we hit the ground running and tried to see and do as much as possible. We made time for major attractions like Il Duomo, Sforza Castle, and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, but we also veered away from the crowds in search of street art and interesting neighborhoods. This being Italy, we also tried to prioritize meals, sampling everything from pizza to risotto, and cappuccinos to aperitivos. The following travel guide will highlight 20 things to do when you visit Milan, Italy 1) Milan Catherdral (Il Duomo - Duomo di Milano - Domm de Milan) 2) Il Duomo Terrace 3) Italian Breakfast - Cappuccino and sweet Italian pastries 4) Sforza Castle - Castello Sforzesco 5) The Galleria - Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II 6) Risotto alla Milanese - Milan style risotto 7) Street Art around Porta Ticinese 8) Colonne di San Lorenzo - Columns of San Lorenzo Roman Ruins 9) Boat tour down the canal (linea traghetti gaggiano milano) 10) Dine along the canal in Milan s Navigli District 11) Aperitivo drinks and buffet - Apรฉritifs and digestifs 12) Shopping in Milan down Via Torino 13) Visiting Chinatown for some Chinese food 14) Ride a bicycle in Milan like a local 15) Pizza al taglio (pizza al trancio) Italian pizza by the slice 16) Basilica of Sant Eustorgio containing relics of the 3 Magi 17) Duomo Museum covering the cathedrals history in-depth 18) New City Views with a hop-on-hop-off bus pass 19) Museum of Natural History - Museo Civico di Storia Naturale di Milano 20) Night views of Milan nearby Il Duomo GEAR WE USE Olympus OM-D E-M5 II: http://amzn.to/1OchS7t Canon G7X: http://amzn.to/1YdjsYX Olympus 14-150mm II Lens: http://amzn.to/1Y79zeM Rode Video Mic GO: http://amzn.to/1WDKtVM Joby Gorilla Pod: http://amzn.to/1PgoY5F SanDisk 16GB Extreme Pro: http://amzn.to/25KEErs SOCIAL MEDIA & TRAVEL BLOGS AUDREY: blog: http://thatbackpacker.com/ instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thatbackpacker/ facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thatbackpacker twitter: https://twitter.com/ThatBackpacker SAMUEL: blog: http://nomadicsamuel.com/ facebook: https://www.facebook.com/nomadicsamuel twitter: https://twitter.com/NomadicSamuel instragram: https://www.instagram.com/nomadicsamuel/ http://nomadicsamuel.com/photo-essays/20-things-milan-blogville Our trip to Milan, Lombardy was part of the Blogville project where we stayed in a local apartment and experienced all of the best cultural activities, museums, restaurants, arts and entertainment the city has to offer. This city guide is our best attempt to create a mix of best attractions and off-the-beaten-path activities that you won t necessarily find in a typical Milan tourism brochure. 20 Things to do in Milan Italy Travel Guide Video Transcript: Our first stop was Il Duomo, which is the most recognized attraction in the city. The cathedral took nearly six centuries to complete. So we ve sat down at a little cafe and we re going to have our first Italian breakfast with cappuccino and sweet pastries. Something that surprised us about Milan is that there is a castle right in the middle of the city. Sforza Castle was built in the 15th century by the Duke of Milan, and it then underwent several restorations and expansions in the following centuries. Today it houses several of the city s most prized art possessions, including frescoes by Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo s very last sculpture. For some upscale designer shopping, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is the place to be. So we just found a local little restaurant and we re going to be trying a traditional dish that is very popular in this city and in the Lombardy region. We are going to have Risotto alla Milanese. The Colonne di San Lorenzo are the remains of Roman ruins that date back to the 2nd century. They are believed to have been part of a bath house. Another fun activity to try in Milan is a boat tour of the canals. The city s canals are attributed to Leonardo Da Vinci, who in 1482 was called over by the Duke of Milan to help renovate the cityโs canal system. Milan s Navigli District is one of the liveliest parts of town especially when the sun goes down for dining al fresco. So we ve gone out for our first Italian Aperitivo. Which is kind of like a pre-dinner drinking tradition. Basically, you get yourself a cocktail for about 10 Euros and that gives you access to this massive buffet. And that s all for our visit to Milan. We hope this video will give you some cool ideas of sights and attractions to check out. This is part of our Travel in Italy series showcasing Italian culture, Italian arts, Italian foods & Italian cuisine. THANK YOU SLACKLIFE MONKEYS FOR THIS DREAM! This stunt was a massive community effort!!~ Some things can be done on your own, in your own personal world, for your own personal reasons... and this was not that stunt. This was a mega project, with mega work, for many hands, on too much gear!~ Years of dedication, creation, testing, evolving, and updating have led to Thug Mansion; "a sky high iced out paradise, in the sky," that is 400ft high, has 7 highline-able walkable sides, and 2 Space Nets connected by a "float line," (which is a highline with 2 dynamic anchors) When I drew up the plans I laughed as I tried to imagine the amount of monkeys we would need to rig this multi-hundred pound structure, hundreds of feet off the desert floor. We put the word out and started to prepare all the gear. We took out the nets and pre-rigged them-- setting them up 3ft off the ground. We added more weaving to the nets-- putting the amount of cord weaved inside of the nets at about 21,000 ft + We measured and taped all the lines, organized dynamometers to track the forces in the system, found hardware for the potential users of the net, and racked everything into cars. Over the next few days I mentally prepared for the rig, and crossed my fingers we would have enough people. On the day of the rig I pulled up to the parking lot full of cars, dumped all the gear, and by the time my car was empty, everything was already being carried to the location. Beautiful. Over the course of the whole day almost 100 people worked together to get Thug Mansion rigged. By sunset we were chilling in the sky, taking the first walks of all the lines, and planned on making it even better. We added back ups, a little tension here and there, and even walked the float line in the middle! We came back to the net day 2 and celebrated the 2 year anniversary of our fallen monkey Daniel Moore RIP 11-23-13. We cheered for him as we enjoyed the first jumps from the new space station, his ashes under a tree watching over us. The whole structure was perfect and jumping from it was amazing. That night I tried to sleep, but couldn t stop thinking of the BASEline. The moment I would be sitting on it. The terror of standing up, or rather falling off out of control. I shivered, and wrestled my sheets all night. This morning I couldn t help myself, I had to go do it. And this is the RAW video from my GoPro4 Black, 1440x80 W of the first ever Net to Net BASE line ;D Specs of the Float line- 80 long, 400ft high, double vectran + 9.5mm static back up.
