He isn t proud of it even though he has what to be proud of, he would have been unpleased if he knew I uploaded this video. However, it is important for me to upload this video since it raises awareness and I truly and really want others to begin feeding stray animals outside of their houses. You don t have to buy specific food for the animals, like my father does. Whenever you have leftovers don t throw it away without a second thought, feed those who need it. That s why my skincare routine is pretty simple 🌟 + it helps to have a simple routine when you re a teen because you don t need to be spending $1000 on essence, serums, etc. 💀 After I started exfoliating, all of my forehead bumps went away within 3 days and the dark spots took about a month to disappear. I had to scrap the footage from my DSLR because there was a ticking sound whenever I tried to talk into the mic.. if anyone knows how to fix that please lmk ・゜・(ノД`) a common misconception is that you have to use more products to clear acne and that s just not true. Ask This Old House painter Mauro Henrique travels to Sacramento to show a homeowner the safe way to strip paint. SUBSCRIBE to This Old House: http://bit.ly/SubscribeThisOldHouse Time: 12 hours Cost: $100 Skill Level: Beginner Tools List for Stripping Paint from Woodwork: Utility knife Plastic putty knife Shopping List: Drop cloth Lead test kit Zero VOC paint stripper Laminated paper Mask Gloves Cheap throwaway brush Scrub pad Steps: 1. Before doing any work, test the surface being stripped with a lead test kit. Follow the instructions that come with the packaging to confirm that there is no lead present. 2. Starting from the top of the surface being stripped, apply a thick layer of the paint stripper using the paint brush. 3. Cover each section with laminated paper to accelerate the curing time of the paint stripper. Cut off any excess paper with the utility knife. Allow each section to slightly overlap with previous sections to ensure full coverage. 4. Wait for the laminated paper to turn brown. It should take somewhere between 20-40 minutes. 5. Once the paper has turned brown, take the plastic putty knife and drag it underneath the laminated paper. Most of the paint should come off with it. 6. Gently scrape the plastic putty knife across the surface to get any extra paint left behind. 7. Soak the scrub pad in some warm water and scrub the surface to remove any leftover residue. Resources: Paint stripping is a project that can be detrimental to a person’s health. For that reason, Mauro strongly advises that homeowners take a number of steps to protect themselves from toxins. If there is a chance that any of the paint being stripped was applied before 1978, it needs to be tested for lead. Lead tests can be bought at most paint supply stores and home centers. Mauro used the LeadCheck Swabs test kit, manufactured by 3M (https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/company-us/). When choosing a paint stripper, check the label closely and choose one that reads “Zero VOC.” “Low VOC” paint strippers can be misleading, since there are few regulations determining the concentration of VOCs that can be considered “low”. Mauro used Smart Strip Advanced Paint Remover and laminated paper, both manufactured by Dumond (https://www.dumondchemicals.com/). The other materials required for paint stripping, including the plastic putty knife, drop cloths, disposable paint brush, mask and gloves, can all be found at home centers and paint supply stores. I’m not talking about a secret exercise or workout that will pile on slabs of muscle simply by performing 3 sets of 12 reps. No, it’s actually much simpler than that. That said, it’s not going to be easy. In this video, I’m going to make you aware of your own efforts in the gym and hopefully reveal to you how much more you have to give. Do I think you are purposely holding back? Not really. I think that many of us simply get comfortable in our workouts. We start to call them workout routines. Nothing should be routine about your training other than the fact that you routinely show up to perform them. When it comes to your intensity levels however when doing your workouts I would bet that you are likely falling a little short in that department. I showcase resident ATHLEAN-X trainees Jesse and all pro steelers wide receive Antonio Brown here to point out the difference in training intensity and effort. You can see in a simple landmine plyo just how much effort Jesse was holding back in comparison to Antonio. It’s not that Jesse is lazy or any less committed to wanting to look better. The difference is in the actual work that gets put in when it’s go time and action has to trump desire. Antonio Brown’s workout is full of high effort intensity from the first set to the last. Just like on the field, he takes no plays off. He practices like he plays. He trains like every set matters, which it does if you have been watching this channel for any length of time. I say all the time, you can either train hard or you can train long but you can’t do both. Once Jesse became aware that his workout intensity wasn’t what it should be, he was instantly able to put in more effort and get much more from the exercise he was doing. And that’s the thing, there is no secret exercise that is meant to force effort. Even a one thousand pound squat performed with crappy quarter rep range of motion is not going to demand a response from your muscles to dramatically improve your body and appearance. You have to use full range of motion and use focused effort and intensity that allows you to get the most out of every single rep you do in your workout. This doesn’t mean that you necessarily have to train to failure on every set. If you are training for power for example you wouldn’t want to take your sets to failure. This could create compromised safety since your muscle fatigue could not only impair your explosiveness but also your ability to land safely as in the exercise shown. Regardless, the key is that you become self aware of your own efforts before every workout that you do. Once you know that you can likely fall into the trap of taking sets and reps off then you will be more likely to intervene and not do this. Your own conscious awareness of your body’s desire to seek shortcuts should be enough to keep you focused on preventing this path from being taken. From here, it’s all about accumulating more and more of these high quality sets over time. The more quality and intensity you can deliver in your training over the course of workout to workout then the faster you will see muscle and strength gains from your efforts.
