http://crosstrainingenduro.com http://tractionerag.com How to ride off off camber slopes on a dirt bike with Cross Training Enduro Skills. The rise of extreme enduro has seen a new breed of riders, pushing the boundaries of what is possible on a dirt bike. Like to ride dirt bikes using enduro skills and dirt bike techniques - just like the top riders? Around 95% of the top extreme enduro riders are former trials riders. So... How to ride off camber slopes on dirt bikes. So it s not surprising these guys say the key to learning to ride fast is first slow down and get your fundamental techniques right with terrain like off camber slopes. The past few years Graham Jarvis has been the king of the extreme enduro world, and we ve even started our own religion based on his teachings. We even got to ask his holiness on how to make our bikes do the crazy shit his bike does. It can be inspiring, but also demoralising to see how well these guys ride off camber slopes on their enduro bikes. We figured if you can t beat them, join them. So past few years, a bunch of us in our 50s thought we would try to learn as much of this shit as possible, before dementia and arthritis slow us down. And along the way we ve been pumping out free dodgy enduro training vids for everyone. And being free they come with a money back guarantee if they make you ride worse... and they probably will. When learning how to ride off camber slopes on enduro bikes. Cross Training Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJAvmhgP0h1AEKY8vTEJPJg Cross Training Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/cross.training.enduro.skills/?ref=ts Our enduro vlog series: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLlur54ugvzNJlUO0y6D10jVOGMLI4Raci Cross Training website: http://www.crosstrainingenduro.com Like to support our vids? http://www.crosstrainingenduro.com/cross-training-support-donations.htm Traction eRag: http://tractionerag.ca So what is cross training? It s just applying trials skills to dirt riding... slowing things down initially we we can be faster, and more importantly, better dirt riders on terrain like off camber slopes. A coaching session with Chris Birch was a great start. Arguably the top extreme enduro rider back in 2010 despite coming from New Zealand, Birchy shared many tips that worked their way into the training vids. We will never match these guys, but we have surprised ourselves at the new tricks we old dogs can learn when riding dirt bikes on off camber slopes and hills. Along the way there have been plenty of stacks and offs as we ride well beyond our very limited abilities. Jarvis once said going fast is the easy bit, it s the slow stuff that takes skill and we ve grown to love the challenge of riding tough terrain with skill, instead of just roosting and sliding our way around easy tracks. So get into cross training. Over 50 completely free training vids on sex.... off camber hills... relationships.... biology... and how to set up your bike, protective gear, maintenance, and riding skills from beginner to advanced. Check them out on our website, Facebook page or Youtube channel. Apparently it will make you irreristable to women... we live in hope. Interested in supporting the vids? For the cost of a cup of coffee every month, our supporters get access to special weekly vids that are even dodgier than our crappy training vids with techniques for off camber hills and slopes. And we go way beyond the training vids. There are our regular riding vids, the really really stupid vids, there are even philosophical vids. All guaranteed dodgy. And if they don t make you better rider, they might at least be amusing. If your IQ is low enough. #howtoridedirtbikes #crosstrainingenduroskills #howtoride #enduro #tractionerag #crosstrainingenduro Music: https://www.purple-planet.com Music: www.playonloop.com Music: https://soundimage.org Music: https://audionautix.com/ Music by Tobu: https://tobu.io http://youtube.com/tobuofficial Music: https://www.bensound.com/royalty-free-music Music: https://soundimage.org Music by Atch: SoundCloud: https://bit.ly/AtchSoundCloud Spotify: https://bit.ly/AtchSpotify Instagram: www.instagram.com/atchmusic

Ask This Old House plumbing and heating expert Richard Trethewey helps a homeowner replace her kitchen faucet. SUBSCRIBE to This Old House: http://bit.ly/SubscribeThisOldHouse Time: 1-2 hours Cost: $50 Skill Level: Moderate Tools List for Installing a New Kitchen Faucet: Wrench Basin wrench Scissors Screwdriver Shopping List: New faucet Cover plate for fourth hole Plumber’s putty Steps: 1. Shut the water off to the faucet underneath the sink. 2. Disconnect the water hoses from the shutoff valves. 3. Loosen the nuts underneath the sink using the basin wrench. 4. Cut the hose connecting the faucet to the sprayer with a pair of scissors. 5. Carefully wiggle the old faucet off of the sink. 6. Assemble the pieces of the faucet according to the instructions on the packaging. In general, it starts with a gasket that goes directly underneath the faucet and then a cover plate. 7. Apply a thick glob of plumber’s putty underneath the cover plate and put the faucet into place. Be sure all the hoses connected to the faucet go through the center hole. 8. Underneath the sink, slide the gasket, then the washer, and then the mounting bracket onto the faucet. Use a screwdriver to secure the bracket to the sink. 9. Add a weight to the spray hose to allow it to retract when in use. 10. Reconnect the hot and cold water hoses to the shutoff valves. 11. If there is a fourth hole exposed from the old spray hose, use a cover plate or soap dispenser to block it. Add plumber’s putty to the underside and secure it to the sink. 12. Turn the water back on. Resources: Richard installed the Fairbury Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet in stainless steel, manufactured by American Standard (https://www.americanstandard-us.com). It comes with washers and gaskets and most of the materials required to install it. Everything else he used to replace the kitchen faucet, including the putty, soap dispenser, wrench and screwdriver, can be purchased at home centers and plumbing supply stores. 60% off all AX programs - http://athleanx.com/x/413-workouts Subscribe to this channel here - http://bit.ly/2b0coMW The fastest way to get a hernia in the gym is to perform the one armed dumbbell row with your knee up on a bench. In this video, I’m going to explain to you why this is the case and more importantly, what you can do to fix that once and for all. I will discuss the anatomy of the groin and why men are much more likely to incur an inguinal hernia than women when working out in the gym. It starts with a bit of a discussion about the anatomy. When we are young, the testicles descend into the scrotum through the inguinal canal. In most cases, this canal closes off once this has occurred. In some cases however, the canal never closes off and you are left with a hole through the tissues in the lower abdominal region that compromises the integrity of the area moving forward. Even if this closes properly, you still have the duct for the spermatic cord which passes through down into the testicles that creates a hole or compromise in the abdominal wall muscles that you cannot avoid. The stronger your adjacent muscles are in your abdomen, the more tension is applied to this area around the hole that is already present for the cord. This can lead to a high incidence of additional herniation and breakdown. Many people think that the main cause of this is lifting heavy weights on exercises that typically would cause you to strain like the squat, bench press or deadlift. This is not the case. In fact, it is more so the positioning of the lower extremities during the lift that makes the one armed row a bigger culprit when it comes to causing hernia and inguinal hernias specifically. Because of the way the exercise is normally performed (with one knee up on a bench and the other leg on the ground) you are asymmetrically loading the pelvis and creating a torque on it. The heavier the weight you attempt to lift from this position, the more torque is applied to the pelvis and the work must be done by the muscles of the core to stabilize and control the descent of the weight. As you pull from the lowest position of the lift, your pelvic muscles are in their weakest and most vulnerable state. Add to the fact that you are likely placing an additional tensile stretch on this region by partially squatting down during the rep to gain a little bit more momentum and it makes this worse. The key is not to keep your knee up on the bench but rather keep both feet on the floor at all times. All that is needed is to straddle the bench rather than lean on it. With both feet on the ground you are not only more athletic instantly but you have applied ground reaction forces through the legs on both sides. This acts to stabilize the pelvis more and decrease the amount of torque applied to it tremendously. Perform all reps of the one armed row on one side and then move onto the other side. Be sure of course to keep all other elements of proper row form in place like keeping a flat back, chest out and pulling your arm into extension on every rep rather than rotating to ensure maximal activation of the lats.
