Hyundai revealed its new flagship SUV, the three-row Palisade, at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show. This big crossover sports all the latest safety and technology features, an upscale and roomy interior, and a few tricks three-row SUV shoppers should appreciate. One question mark is the V6, which makes good power on paper but has a bit of a quirk. Edmunds Content Strategist & News Editor Will Kaufman gives you a first glimpse at the new Hyundai Palisade. Q: What are the Hyundai Palisade s competitors? A: The Palisade will compete against other three-row SUVs including the Ford Explorer, Honda Pilot and Toyota Highlander. Q: What kind of engine does the Palisade have? A: The Palisade has a 3.8-liter V6 that, surprisingly, runs on the Atkinson cycle. That s what Toyota uses in the Prius gas motors to eke out more fuel economy at the cost of some performance. Even so, the Palisade s V6 still makes 291 horsepower. Q: When will the Hyundai Palisade go on sale? A: The Palisade should go on sale in 2019 as a 2020 model. Q: How much will the Palisade cost? A: Hyundai hasn t released pricing information for the Palisade, but we expect it to be priced competitively for the segment. That means prices should start a little over $30,000. After 2 years of saving $ and travel hacking over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling. So we extended our 1 year trip to THREE years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

Join my online French cooking classes: https://learn.thefrenchcookingacademy.com/p/get-started-with-french-cooking The Frangipane is an almond filling use in France to make the  famous "Galette des rois" ( translated king cake) this simple pastry item is made out of a thick layer of creme Frangipane ( which is in fact an almond cream mixed with pastry cream) sandwiched between 2 layer of pure butter puff pastry. In this french baking class you will learn how to make the authentic Frangipane almond cream from scratch as well as how to use it to make a delicious and tasty almond cake. WRITTEN RECIPE LINK BELOW: https://bit.ly/2BJI1rJ today  to make make things easier for home cooking we are going to use some good quality pre-made puff pastry and create a simple rectangular shaped cake that we will be able slice and serve on your christmas table for  dessert. However when making this recipe it is vital to make a true Frangipane and not an almond cream (creme d amande) which many people seems to do nowadays. An authentic Frangipane is made with a pastry cream mixed with almond cream. Only that combination will provide you with the true taste of the cake filling that you may have tasted back in France. ******************************************************************** WRITTEN RECIPES ARE ON MY WEBSITE https://thefrenchcookingacademy.com ******************************************************************** My Filming equipment: Video camera: https://amzn.to/2x5MDox Microphone: https://amzn.to/2Oclckm ******************************************************************** IF YOU LIKE WATCHING MY VIDEOS PLEASE CONSIDER ONE OF THE OPTIONS BELOW ( It really helps support the channel) * Spread the word about the channel and the website. * Check my Amazon cookware page ( affiliate link) https://www.amazon.com/shop/thefrenchcookingacademy * Join the Kitchen brigade by signing up on my Patreon page : https://www.patreon.com/frenchcookingacademy * Take a look a the recipes to my website https://thefrenchcookingacademy.com
