He has really solid lane dominance and nuke power in the mid lane, and a really nice variety of skills that generally just makes him really good at solo killing and helping in lots of situations. His weaknesses are super low armor and low hp, and the fact that if you cast his ultimate that he burns through his mana extremely fast. I really like building Rod of Atos on him, because it synergizes with his ultimate really well, and makes him tanky while increasing his nuke damage. Go try him out! He has an interesting playstyle that makes him super tanky while still making him a carry threat because of his ultimate, which increases his physical damage. You can turn him into a medium damage dealing, right click machine, or you can focus more on just being super tanky and being annoying in teamfights. You can play him in arguably any lane, though a safe farming or mid role is probably best. If you go mid, I think that a max goo/quills with 1 back skill build is better. If you are on a side lane, the core item build is magic wand, ring of basilius, and vanguard boots is the best build! I opted this game to focus on having an armlet into BkB which limited my reach because of a lack of blink dagger. Regardless, I think this is probably the right item build to do. If you grab Blink you probably need BkB, and if you skip armlet, you end up lacking in damage and regen. With the right items, and an excess of kills, you should be able to carry the game. This was a game that I played against fans. Necrolyte is a super fun hero to play because he has the tanky while doing decent damage playstyle. This results in you constantly standing in the middle of enemy teams constantly adjusting your position based on how things progress. It also results in you barely surviving and then going on to turn teamfights. I love it. When you build Necrolyte, make sure you focus tanky instead of anything with dps. Also, don t worry too much about mana regen, because you should be able to cover the mana regen with sadist(since it s so heavily buffed now). Thanks for watching!
