Pulling on the aiptasia or agitating it in any way physically will just cause it to release particles into the water that will land elsewhere and create MORE aiptasia. Spot feeding my two Kuda Seahorses. My feeding station broke, so until I get another one and teach them how to use it all over again, I need to spot feed. Nova has been pregnant now for about 30 days... Normally the longest gestation period is 45 days. a lot of the times they are a LOT shorter than this (some even being only 15 days!) but I keep my tank pretty cold, which slows down the pregnancy. In the future I ll do a seahorse keeping how-to video. I just wanted to upload some cute content featuring these babies. Tomorrow I m going to the store I purchase my seahorses from....hoping to get more maybe!?? I d love to add some different seahorses to this tank, primarily either different colored Kudas or some Erectus. It s ok to mix species of Seahorses, you just have to be EXTREMELY careful. Wildcaught is always a no-no, they carry so many potential diseases that not only will kill them in a matter of months but spread to your seahorses as well. Captive bred is always the safe route, why would you want to take seahorses from the wild anyways!? Thank you guys for the 24,000 subscribers! ANOTHER NEW VIDEO AT 2:30PM TODAY, this one is just a quick fun video that gives you a little look inside some stuff I do with my family. Today we went to the Natural Bridge Caverns Wildlife Ranch in San Antonio and fed zebras, ostriches, llamas, kangaroos, etc. I m very close to my family, and my mother and brother often invite me out to do things with them. MY MOST EMO VIDEO EVER. In addition to the main topic, I also talk about Nala, who was my first hedgehog and the one who achieved internet fame for being the "cheering hedgehog" in this video. Solara looks to be at her final year of life sadly, but she has been the most gentle hedgehog I ve ever owned. She s so loving, and had been a surrogate mother to other neglected hedgehog babies since she couldn t have her own before I took her in. This is why I keep her with Piper, they work well together because Solara is naturally very motherly. Most hedgehogs don t like to be kept together, they are solitary creatures. There s a vast amount of information out there about wobbly hedgehog syndrome if you google it, but I suggest that if you even think your hedgehog MIGHT have it, TAKE THEM TO A VET! Medication will help ease the pain, but there is no cure. I always suggest doing yearly vet visits for hedgehogs because there are always hidden "invisible" illnesses that they can develop. it s best to stay on top of it and track their health regardless with the help of a professional to make sure they live their life to their fullest. I ve gotten a lot of requests over the months to show how feeding Zazu (my dwarf fuzzy) goes. So here he is. Although since he already ate today he didn t come to the front during feeding like he normally does. He s grown about twice his size since I purchased him 6 and a half months ago, so I think his diet is going pretty well. Also I got a new baby budwing mantis! He s SO tiny right now and I haven t named him yet. Brought him home yesterday though and am super excited about having him. I ll post more about him in videos to come, just wanted to do a quick upload tonight!
