Beagle Puppy s beloved toy "Pig" has lost a leg. This was Smudge s first toy and a favorite. If we try to replace it, will she like the new one? It looks the same but will she know the difference, will she accept the new one or is her old favourite toy irreplaceable? The wind and waves were very noisy so for her safety we decided to get a whistle to try so she could hear us regardless of where we were and what the conditions were. Beagle puppy visits the SPCA (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals), featuring the Vet Clinic, other pets, and the Tree of Remembrance. Smudge the beagle puppy went to the SPCA twice in a week. The first time she found a lost dog (Pippins) out walking, and shared the car with him to the SPCA so his humans would know he was safe until he could be collected. The second time is this video when she visited the Veterinary Clinic two days later. Profits from SPCA Vet Clinic go to support the work of the SPCA in caring and protecting vulnerable animals in the community, so Smudge has chosen to go to here as her new Vet. Also at the SPCA were pets waiting to be adopted into their forever homes, and the Tree of Remembrance in memory of loved and treasured companion pets.

A few weeks ago, it rained all Friday, and it rained most of Saturday. Then at 2pm, all of a sudden the rain stopped and the skies cleared. Dogs and their owners took the opportunity to go to the beach to play and run and get a bit of fresh air. The surfers were also out enjoying the waves. Everyone descending on the beach for a beach paw-ty (party). Smudge the Beagle puppy plays, runs, and has a great time meeting and socialising with other dogs. Beagle puppy runs and plays on a sunny afternoon on a long lead. Smudge the beagle puppy tries a 30m long leash to work on her recall and have a great run in a local sports ground she hasn t been to before. It s a wide open space so she can run freely but with a long lead which can be easily used if she is distracted by birds or people or just wants not to come back!
