Teddy is a big dog, but a cow is much bigger so he took cautious footsteps! They seem to be intrigued by him and get a lick from Teddy. Did you know cows can be quite dangerous however, luckily there was no young but you still have to be weary. They are generally more inquisitive than anything and it s nice to see the relaxed social interaction. First it was donkeys and now we have cows! Had to make a pit stop to do an introduction, helps with future bike rides so they don’t get too distracted by them next time! Cows were super inquisitive with Teddy I think his calmness helps encourage an interaction! Whereas with Niko she’s nervous so they both give each other space, Phil would prob be in there rolling about in the mud, he d be so happy! Another day another bike ride as always!
Phil lives a life of visiting the vet back and forth for tests and medication, as Amelia grows, so does her understanding of things and she s scared and sad to take her dog Phil to the vets! It s lovely t watch their bond grow and to have the opportunity to capture and share these moments for Amelia to look back on. They love each other so much and they are so happy to see each other at the vets. Phil is 10 years old now and has cushings that we treat. Here s to many more years together!

Amelia and Buddy are best of friends, so much so that Phil can get a bit jealous sometimes! Phil had to be put in timeout zone to chill for a bit until he was allowed back in. I think Buddy must believe Amelia is the same as him as she has the same coulored hair haha, the two are inseperable as they play. Amelia is learning commands and getting a bit bossy sometimes though! Teddy and Nico were inside chilling from the sun and even Milo came on our little trip, of course he was inside. We do miss this nice little garden in the sun but with all our pets we re much luckier to have the space we have now!
More daylight visits! taken on the outskirts of North Glasgow
Phil is not Happy when his little princess is in trouble. This old dog still has bite and he warns dad off with his howls! Phil loves his little sister and would do anything for her even if it meant challenging Dad! Teddy just wants to play fight on the other hand! Luckily Amelia is always willing to play (even when you don’t want to!) Niko was probably guarding Nathan in his chair from the shenanigans!
We all remember these memories as a kid, pitching up your tent in the garden to camp out on your first real adventure! I even had an extension cable out the window so I could have a tv on too 😂 this is a bit more luxurious for the little princess with a nice warm van, or convenient for the parents just jump in the back and shut the doors! Amelia loved her little adventure and gave mum a nice lie in as dad let her stay up all night watching films on her iPad stuck to the roof! The dogs always try to get in the van every chance they can as it usually means they are going on an adventure too! Oh and he reversed it closer to the house so they had WiFi too! Glamping
Grandad is the malamute whisperer! They all adore him as it’s constant attention belly rubs and head scratches from the moment he gets there! Phil even cries when he sees him! If you watch some of our other videos Phil is such an emotional animal. Grandad just loves his dogs and he thinks he’s retired but he’s taken up full time employment as the malamute whisperer. Teddy is a very licky dog and shows his affection that way, Phil and Niko were always told not to lick in the beginning so you can see Niko telling Teddy off! Niko is more chill initially when she sees her family but loves the one on one time, usually on the couch cheeky doggo!
Nathan loves himself some Buddy! Both the kids love when he visits or we go and see him he’s got the perfect temperament for children and lives the attention whether it’s pulling or petting. Golden retrievers are perfect family dogs so loving and loyal. We started with a golden retriever called Toby who passed away due to a twisted stomach. Buddy is also Teddy’s best friend so it’s a win win. Nathan loves to burble and try to talk to the dogs, I wonder what he is actually trying to express to them?? Poor Amelia always with a cough too finally acknowledging she’s unwell, always been in denial before haha. She’s ok really she’s just a chesty cough What’s your favourite dog and why? Let us know below…
I love the electric e-bikes we have for exercising the dogs making it more fun and even more exercise for Teddy! The scooter is perfect as it folds down so small but is the same power as the bikes so gets up to the same speed. In the UK the the law limits the bikes and scooters to 15mph and these scooters are only allowed on private land like when we are away. The bikes obviously you can ride down the road taking care. I will say one thing, it’s more difficult balancing on the scooter with a dog on lead but luckily Teddy is great and never pulls on the lead. These scooters are a LOT cheaper than the bikes too but obviously have their limitations here in the UK. Just like a big kid I just love playing on this new technology and the dogs have fun too!
Caught on camera for the first time ever! Nathan is now mobile! Bitter sweet moments like this as so proud of him but now the parenting challenges begin, hiding all dangers from reach and cables. You won’t be able to take your eye off him soon they learn so fast and move like a magnet to everything they shouldn’t be interested in! We wish for these milestones then before you know it they’ve all flown by! I’m so glad I got it on camera, we’ll it’s an army shuffle more than a crawl but he’s 85% there, he’s mobile anyway!
Phil Is finally reunited with his best friends after such a long time apart, it’s basically been a year since he saw them so in dog years that’s 7! No wonder they were so happy to see each other. Phil brought buddy along to meet his mates and turns out because he had so much more energy than old man Phil he took over the shenanigans. I’m sure Phil was happy to take a break and watch from the sideline for a bit though, his little legs don’t fun as fast as they used to! I wonder what they were all saying to each other, after their compulsory bum sniffs of course….
Never a moments peace when your in charge of this clan. One of the brief moments when the children are occupied and I try and do some home exercise routine. It’s hard to keep on track with these fluffy challenges in toe. I thought I’d show you the outcome of my attempts, I mean it’s fair game really when you get down to a dogs level it generally means play in our house but I was just hopeful! Phil seemed extra intent on trying to distract me the menace. Niko tries to guard me by lying on me so I don’t think she was getting the point of helping me. Got to love them! We just got steps in instead!
These dogs always howl without fail. Whether they are angry, curious, excited or happy! It’s their go to noise because of their breed but they have different types of howls for different emotions. Obviously I was trying to outsmart the dogs and failed by sneaking up on them and growling from round the corner, of course they could smell me but still! Teddy has the scariest bark and deepest howl, Phil has the best howl tone like a wolf and does the head back too and Niko is just the instigator but hers is a happy shriek most of the time she’s so out of key haha. Niko is the one that starts them all off though she’s the leader, luckily the other two can drown her out! Don’t tell her I said that though…
So we went away for a short break and took the kids interactive museum for the day that shane used to go to as a kid. It’s so much fun and for the children to learn too! Nathan just loved all the noises and bright colours but Amelia learned a lot and started watching science shows on her iPad after we returned home. It’s great to make the learning interactive and it’s such a big place to explore. This is just a mash up of scenes we recorded while we were there. I’m sure the pets would have run riot too but we took this trip without them, shhhh….
Buddy hasn t seen Nathan since he was a few weeks old and he finnaly gets to meet him again! He definitely recognises him and is so happy to see him he can t stop licking him which Nathan is confused by as his dogs don t lick that much! Nathan was fascinated by this smaller yellow version of a dog haha. Golden retrievers are so good natured and have such a kind heart all they want to do is please you, buddy just wants to be best of friends with Nathan and play with him but he s only just learned to crawl so he ll have to wait a while yet!
We have been on holiday with the children in Spain and this is the dog s reactions when we finally return, they re so excited they nearly break the glass! Them giant paws left scratch marks all over it and the grandparents weren t happy! Of course they forgave them though haha. The dogs always stay with grandma as they love their little holiday too and they get spoilt. It was nearly 30 degrees in a heat wave in the UK however so not great for walkies they had to get walked very early in the morning when it was cool enough and late at night too. It can be scary when 3 giant dogs like this come bounding at you with all their weight, luckily the wooden wall was there to hide behind. They jump up and their giant claws scratch you too. At they end once they calm down a bit they got to see their little brother again too! We were away for 10 days on our family holiday so they were super excited when we got back but they always know we are there before they see us they were going mad in the house....
Nathan loves his sensory dog Niko! He s so ambitious just shy of 8 months now to progress from his commando crawl into a full blown legs mission. He shuffles his tubby little arms along it s so cute and when he wants to get somewhere quicker adopts the drop and roll technique. Niko isn t too impressed however just trying to keep a supervisory eye on him while Milo the cat hides in the background. Milo loves to tease him, let him get close enough then take it all away from him haha. Nathan loves talking to his big fluffy friends too
