Another reason to consider when thinking about owning a BIG dog! They are strong and these dogs are stubborn, sometimes not the best combination haha

ok so this husky is going to do more work than shed fur and poop! Could you guess by the picture?? We have nearly 2 acres to look after, not all of which is grass but there s a lot more than the 25m2 we replaced with AstroTurf at our last house haha. Amelia loves her baby tractor as she calls it. These are the memories that last riding on Dad s lap and playing around in the sun with freshly cut grass smell. Although I never realised i must have hay fever until today! it must be the pregnancy....

We’ll she brushes what’s left of it! Phil decided he was going to try and fit in the ball pit with Amelia, I think Milo’s antics have rubbed off on him. Isn’t this the most previous thing you’ve seen today, the love these two have for one another

Phil, Niko and Teddy love to be with Mia in her playroom! Today was no exception! The rain was keeping us inside but that didn’t spoil the day we managed to make the best of it!

Now that we live in the middle of nowhere out in the country Teddy is rarely on lead. Come join us for our bike ride along country roads by our house! teddy’s only 2 years old and needs a lot more exercise to tire him out in comparison to Phil and Niko who are 7-8 years old!

It s fascinating to watch animals interact with each other. These two surely were intrigued by the encounter! Teddy is such a predictable dog haha

So we had to take Teddy to the vets to make sure what we were doing was right and on track. Little Amelia is very concerned and always want to make sure her furry friends are well looked after, she has to make sure they are fixed haha. She has a little doctor s kit at home and always practices making sure they are looked after now.

ok ok so they re not trapped, its more of a relaxation chill zone for them and more to trap the business that they make haha. letting them free results in inconspicuous land mines that you can t find until your mowing or Amelia has stepped in them, they generally go to the toilet in the morning and after they have eaten so keeping them here for feeding and first thing in the morning is ideal, it also lets us know they are safe whilst unsupervised and we can leave the back door open (with Milo secured elsewhere) allowing them to come in and out as they please. As you ve seen they have free run when we are out with them or Shane is completing the never-ending list of DIY that he loves really!

Phil and Teddy both save Amelia from the posessed claw that is Dad s hand! Phil s not happy and starts howling to show he will do something, when he can be bothered getting up haha. Teddy bites it and Phil pounces up on the couch to save the day! He calms the claw down to submission by paw. With great power comes great responsibility he thought to himself as he subdued the beast. Amelia doesn t know how lucky she is to have been saved from certain doom. Nevertheless she graciously thanks him. A dog s work is done now, on to the next adventure....

Teddy always runs upstairs when he hears the water splashing and watches over Amelia, it must be a natural instinct as he never leaves, always hanging over the edge watching her. Phil of course is nowhere to be seen in this scenario, tthough the hero he is he takes a rain check on this one haha.

Who says you can t teach an old dog new tricks! Phil loves to give his paw when he wants attention so better put it to good use and help look after Nathan in his bouncer! Phil looks dapper in his old man jumper too haha, he s such a gentle giant, even his howls are quiet for the baby! Milo has to join in and show that he can talk on command too, if you listen carefully he always speaks when asked to, though he s taken to talking when you howl at him recently, the cat thinks he s a dog!

Milo grew up with wolves so you think a few sheep would be no match for him! We were both unsure though as they inquisitively approached and I had to flee and save myself haha. Poor Milo scuttled off with his lead trailing. We pretended to be brave for the first part at least. I don t know what type of sheep they are but they re seem friendly enough it s just the way they pause and stare you down then creep over! Now they re escape artists they could try and get in my house while I sleep who knows.. Sorry for the wind noise it was a lovely day but we live in a very windy area!

Phil the malamute loves to keep Amelia safe while she sleeps. As he s old it s his favourite time with her now when she s quiet and still haha! She s peacefully fallen asleep on the swinging egg chair and it looks so comfortable! I m not jealous at all. Phil would be up there too if he could but I can t even help lift him unfortunately. Niko was up in the paddock wanting to come down too but it s hard to keep an eye when 3 dogs start wandering off down the back where there are escape artist sheep about!

Teddy is such a give away when he s been bad, ears back skulking around trying to avoid eye contact! He s such a funny dog, I can just tell which one it is by their reactions straight away, plus they all have their own individual things they do so it can be a giveaway! Teddy tries to suck up to you by licking you and making himself smaller haha.

Phil absolutely refuses to leave Amelia s room while she sleeps, I don t know what came over him but even the treats wouldn t work he went straight into bath mode and hid in the corner out of sight! First of all he planted himself on the bed as a solid immovable object and then tries to hide in the corner like his old tricks! Everyone came up for the show, even the talking cat got involved! They re just like little kids all getting into mischief egging each other on. Phil is the only innocent one really and he was the one we had to shoo out poor guy! Shane has to carry him down the stairs as he has slipped before and could relly hurt himself. He just loves his little sister too much as they all do!

From one dog crying to another growling, their emotions are all over the place when a relative returns! Niko doesn t like to share, Phil just wants to show love and Teddy just wants to lick and play ball (Milo couldn t care) It s so cute to watch their wholesome reactions but Phil is definitely the most emotional dog out there. He must have been a human in a previous life! Watch til the end to see Amelia and Nathan s reaction to their uncle coming to visit!

Talk about a cat nap and it wasn t even Milo this tme he had to remin on duty! Phil had left the scen so he took up hi shift and lay there while his little sister slept! Amelia is like a teenagaer when you wake her haha so slow and unresponsive, it takes a while for her batteries to kick in. She soon perks up though when her little brother comes out, she adores him and is the best big sister ever to him! Its been rare the sunshine so I was only a tad jealous to watch her lie in the sun and sleep!
