We get a few hot laps on Monticello s North Course in the Jaguar F-Type R Coupe. For 2016, the R gets AWD as it s only drivetrain option, as well as electric power steering. Have they sucked the fun out of it? Fortunately, they have not.

How do dual mass flywheels work? What is a dual mass flywheel? DMFs have two masses (really!). The first mass is matched with the engine crank, and it transfers engine torque through springs to another mass, which is connected with the transmission (and clutch housing). The goal is to reduce torsional vibration through the drivetrain, which is particularly useful for diesel engines, low idle speeds, and low cylinder counts. Track testing and off-road testing the 2015 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport with AWD. This is a small crossover from Mitsubishi, featuring a 2.0L I4 producing 148 HP, which I’ll be comparing to the Honda HR-V, Jeep Renegade, Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, and the Mazda CX-5. Starting with the drawbacks, the Mitsubishi has a fairly cheap interior and the least amount of cargo space with the rear seats folded down. It’s also fairly low on power, but it did have the second highest combined fuel economy rating of the crossovers tested. The Mitsubishi allows for selecting between 2WD and 4WD, as well as locking the center differential. It also offers good ground clearance at 8.5 inches. It also featured an awesome panoramic glass roof. This vehicle was tested as part of the 2015 Northwest Automotive Press Association’s Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year competition.
