This weeks episode was a fun opportunity for AMMO viewers to learn more about the vehicle wrap industry. I wanted to understand all the options car owners have to customize the finish, color, and, look and feel of their car with a wrap as opposed to a (much more permanent and expensive) paint job. We see behind the scenes of how digital prints are designed and scaled to fit a car and the complexity of installing a digital-matte-print vinyl wrap that must line up and match adjacent panels. This was a fun chance for us to learn and play with new material–Oracal 3951RA–on my car and see if it was truly a game changer.
