This is the Citroen Ami Buggy! This wild set of wheels may be one of the weirdest (and smallest!) cars Mat has reviewed on our channel. But even so, that won’t stop him from giving it the proper carwow review treatment! So, what exactly is the Ami Buggy? Well, it’s meant to be a more rugged/extreme version of Citroen’s small city-goer, the Ami. It’s built on the same platform as the regular Ami, so it still puts down 8hp & 40Nm of torque. It’s only got a top speed of 28mph, and it should have a range of around 50 miles. However, elsewhere there are a whole load of changes! The Ami Buggy comes equipped with off-road tyres and extended wheel arches, while there’s also a roof spoiler up top and a full-length light bar! It’s only a concept for now, but the question is, should the Ami Buggy go into production? You’ll have to stick with Mat to find out! This is the all-new INEOS Grenadier! Now we know what some of you are thinking - it looks like a classic Land Rover Defender! And sure, it might do, but we assure you that this is a totally different car. If anything, this is probably the car that classic Land Rover fans wish was released instead of the latest Defender! One thing s for sure - this car definitely isn’t a case of style over substance! If you’re looking for a truly rugged off-roader, it doesn’t get much better than this. The Grenadier comes with a choice of two engines, including a 3-litre straight-six turbo-petrol that can deliver 285hp & 450Nm of torque. It’s also packed full of off-roading tech, such as low-range mode and central locking diffs. It’s pretty heavy though, tipping the scales at 2,500kg. But when it has the ability to tow 3,500kg, does that really even matter?! So what s the interior like? Well once you take a step inside, you ll realise (you guessed it...) that there are some more similarities to the old Defender! You’ll find a load of physical buttons on the centre console, while there s also a large infotainment screen up top. When it comes to price, the Grenadier starts from £53,000 for the standard passenger vehicle, so there’s no denying that it’s good value for money! But is it really worth considering over a Land Rover? You’ll need to keep watching to find out! Henry Catchpole takes the Ineos Grenadier Off-road to test if it just as good on the dirt as the car it so closely resembles. In recent years, the Land Rover Defender and Mercedes G-Wagon have slightly shifted their focus to double up as status symbols, which has left a gap in the market for a solely utility focused off-roader. The Ineos Grenadier is an homage to the those cars but in more than just appearance. It is built using a body-on-frame construction and has three locking differentials which suggests that it will be a very capable off-roading/overlanding vehicle. Ineos propose this as work-first vehicle that is all business. But will it fill the gap left behind by the Defender and Mercedes G-Wagon of old? The Grenadier is powered by BMWs ubiquitous and reliable B58 and B57 engines (petrol and diesel respectively) mated to a ZF 8-speed torque converter automatic. The 2022 Maserati MC20 (~$324,000 CAD / $256,000 USD as specced) is so much more than just a pretty face. From its turbocharged 3.0L V6 Nettuno engine, which makes an absurd 28.8 psi of boost, Maserati claims the MC20 can rocket from 0-60 mph in just 2.9 seconds.
