Doing something different from our normal style here. Daniel and crew at Automotive Aesthetic wanted work their magic restoring Lana the Lancer (no small task), so we took the opportunity to try our hand at an ASMR-style video. The goal was to immerse you in a relaxing, informative escape into automotive detailing, and maybe rustle your jimmies enough to go give your own car a wash. One of the more recent crazes in the car scene, affecting factory and modified cars alike, is the widebody. This video details the design, build and testing of my Remote Control Fan Car inspired by the #f1 Brabham BT46b and the Chaparral 2J. It s based on a #Traxxas slash with 2 EDF fans that would be used in RC Jet Airplanes. This is just the initial testing needed before I move into a much higher power setup intended to use this downforce for a low 0 - 60 time. #STEM

I have finally rebuilt the Active Aerodynamics car that I totaled in the prior test video. This video is of me testing against a few use cases shows how aerodynamics impact my Traxxas Rustler. I may have even taken this thing off a few ramps!

In this video I build a predator style shoulder mounted nerf blaster that uses artificial intelligence to track a face, person or other object in the TFlite model. It uses a pan tilt mechanism and wireless relay as well. The electronics are based on a raspberry pi with a Coral USB Edge TPU accelerator.

This video details the design, build and test of the active aerodynamics I built for my Traxxas Rustler. It was to be used in conjunction with my speed run wheelie bar to keep the front end from lifting at higher speeds and heavy throttle. Using a 3D printer to make molds out of silicone rubber is a really easy process and great for complex shapes as well as minor undercuts. In this video I design the molds in Fusion 360 and then 3D print them. ChatGPT is all the rage right now, and it does show a big improvement in the capabilities of AI. In this video I explore if I think ChatGPT will replace engineers as well as other professions. This is an arduino controlled Robot that I made using 3D printed gears, a DIY circular saw and various other components. The arduino code was written by ChatGPT, so it s fair to say that ChatGPT can program simple robots at least.
