Today we will be removing the rear subframe, rear control arms, rear differential, Haldex unit, and more on the R32. The metal parts are rusted and look awful. The bushings are worn, and we may install a limited slip for the diff. In this video we walk step by step on how to remove the whole rear end and strip it down for powder coat. With how much plastic is in cars, it s only a matter of time before some plastic breaks in your car. In this video we use epoxy to fix the broken glove box in my R32 for about $10. The plan with this R32 is to turbocharge it. But an R32 with 216,000 miles may need some love before adding about 500WHP. Today we tear down a VW W8 engine. The W8 engine is 2 VR4 engines in a V. Similar to the W12, Turbo W12 and W16 engines. This 2010 VW CC came to me with a check engine light, running poorly, and the "ITs been to a bunch of shops and still isn t fixed. Today we diagnose the check engine light, and find some really interesting issues, that are not common CC problems. Cars like this are always a tough diagnosis with so much unknown, and issues that were caused by other shops.
