As one of the first retro cars to market the Nissan Figaro was the precursor to the Volkswagen Beetle, Ford Thunderbird and the Chrysler PT Cruiser. Is the Mercedes Sprinter or Dodge or Freightliner Sprinter a good van to buy? In this video Greg Your Car Angel goes through the three generations of Sprinters. The first generation T1N which ran between 1995-2006, the second generation NCV3 which ran between 2007-2018 and the third generation VS30 which ran between 2019 and the present. From rust issues to turbo resonators to rumple strip noise is all covered on the !st gen T1N. The dreaded DPF system, the DEF fluid reservoir and the NOX sensors are all covered on the 2nd gen units. and finally the MBUX system is covered on the 3rd gen. Which is the best? Greg thinks the reliability of the OM647 is the best, even over the OM612. The rust areas are on the seams on top of the van and the body panels underneath. These vans are some of the best to build out and up fit as van conversions.

Greg Macke, Your Car Angel, reviews the first generation Mazda Miata. The MX-5 Miata debuted at the Chicago Auto show in 1989 and ran between 1989-1998. Otherwise known as the NA the first generation Miata featured the pop up headlights which were discontinued in the second generation. But it was 1994 that the Miata had a mid cycle refresh and came with a new 1.8 liter engine as well as chassis strengthening and dual airbags. This soft top convertible which featured a front engine rear wheel drive configuration picked up where the Lotus Elan, Triumph Spitfire, Alfa Romeo Spider, Fiat Spider and the MGB left off. Known for its cat-like handling, the Miata had a 50/50 balance with under steer and over steer virtually non existent.

Greg Macke - Your Car Angel shows how to repair and fix a flat tire the easy way without removing the tire. If you have a flat tire or a slow leak you can often remove the nail or screw and fix the tire with a small tool kit.

The Toyota Solara is in a league of its own. There is no other used convertible that is reliable as the Solara. Dependable, safe, attractive and with the highest resale value makes the Toyota Solara the best used cabriolet that you can buy. There were two generations of the Solara. The first generation ran between 1998 and 2004 and the second generation between 2005-2008. The problems to look out for with the first generation were a cogged idle air control valve, otherwise known as the IAC, the O2 sensors, sludge problems and leaking valve cover gaskets. The 3.0 engine was a non-interference engine with a timing belt.. The second generation had the 3.3 engine which also had a timing belt but was an interference engine. Both engines were very reliable as long as you changed the oil regularly and on schedule.
