In this video I showcase 2 types of Quinzees that I built. The first one is for the purpose of survival, the second is built to be comfortable. In a survival situation during the winter, my priority would be to build a quinzee before trying to start a fire. That s because it s hard to have enough wood to keep a fire going through a long winter s night. And a blizzard could easily snuff out the fire, which would leave you without shelter & fire. But a quinzee is a great protection from all sorts of winter weather. Plus, if built properly, your body heat alone will be enough to keep the inside of the quinzee at a survivable temperature. In the video, I demonstrate the 7 rules to follow when building a quinzee, which are: 1. Allow your snow pile to harden for at least 1 hour before digging it out. 2. Use twigs as thickness markers for the walls. 3. The walls should be about 1 foot thick. 4. The sleeping area should be about 6 inches higher than the entrance. 5. Open a vent in the ceiling. 6. At night, the entrance should be partially closed. 7. A tarp should be placed on the ground to prevent moisture from entering your sleeping bag and clothes.

As authorities are accused of taking honour crimes too lightly, girls who resist or refuse a marriage can face abuse, torture, even death. "We have kidnappings, abductions, sexual offences. Anything that you can imagine could happen does happen in the name of honour", Nazir Afzal, the Chief Prosecutor for Northwest England, tells us. Shafilia Ahmed simply wanted to be a lawyer and to make her own relationship choices. But her parents judged the 17-year-old s aspirations to be shameful to the family, so they killed her and made their other children watch the consequences of perceived dishonour. In the multi-cultural corners of the United Kingdom law enforcement authorities are struggling to address the problem. Police, in particular, have been accused of not taking honour crime seriously, ignoring clear warning signs and pleas for help. No one will ever want to live in these conditions but they need to be close to their work explains S bu Zikode, Abahlali s elected leader. However, the group has not been welcomed by the ANC. In this video I look at some of the most complex international border. Of course, there are more complex borders in the world, but this video looks at some of my favourites. I look at the 3 enclaves countries of the world: Vatican City, San Marino and Lesotho. As well as Campione d Italia, an Italian exclave which is an enclave of Switzerland. I then take things up a notch and look at enclaves within enclaves. The town of Baarle which is in the Netherlands and Belgium is an incredibly complicated border. But not quite as much as the Cooch Behar region of India and Bangladesh. This is followed by a look at the odd situation of Bir Tawil, the only unclaimed land on Earth outside of Antarctica (which is itself a place for complex borders!)
