In this episode I step up the primitive fire challenge by attempting to start a primitive bow drill friction fire at a blustery -15 Celsius. For this daily outing i m using some military equipment, which is quite cheap but strong and for many application useful. I wanna show that it needs not much money to praxis bushcraft or enjoy the forest and the outdoors. Special for beginner and young people would it be a good opportunity to discover nature. So i build up a Tipi out of two east german army tarps, make it comfortable with a insulation mat of the german army and a wool blanket of the swiss army. Then i create a little fire just big enough to boil a cup of water with my ferro rod and some fatwood. The defining feature of a black hole is the appearance of an event horizon, a boundary in spacetime through which matter and light can only pass inward towards the mass of the black hole. The event horizon is referred to as such because if an event occurs within the boundary, information from that event cannot reach an outside observer, making it impossible to determine if such an event occurred. In astrophysics, spaghettification is the vertical stretching and horizontal compression of objects into long thin shapes in a very strong non-homogeneous gravitational field. It is caused by immense tidal forces. In the most extreme cases, near black holes, the stretching is so powerful that no object can withstand it, no matter how strong its components. Within a small region the horizontal compression balances the vertical stretching so that small objects being spaghettified experience no net change in volume. Graeme catches some fresh fish and cooks them on a spit over a camp fire. He even uses a simple DIY coat-hanger wire for the spit. You can do this with Cod too, but in this video Graeme catches a number of Whiting. Be sure to check that the Whiting are the right size limit! Also, be aware of small stones around a fire on a beach. These stones have moisture in them, when it expands they can sometimes explode. Be aware!
