Since announcing his candidacy, Donald Trump is everywhere. To him, it seems that nothing is taboo and no policy too outlandish to embrace. Somehow, this billionaire candidate has become the champion of ordinary America, with supporters travelling hundreds of miles just to see him. To understand this phenomenon, we followed his campaign across the country for 200 days. In the beginning, he met his supporters in small rooms and the media was often absent. But quickly, he started packing rallies and the ‘Trump Show’ developed. On stage, he provoked immigrants and Muslims, women and minorities. But behind the scenes, he was tightly managing a slick media campaign and shutting out journalists. We go behind the image and talk to his childhood friends and billionaire buddies, as well as his critics and those who have had the experience of working with him. Going Home to War: The Syrian war has seen the greatest mass migration of our time, as millions have been driven from their homes. Returning to the homeland, the extremity of the damage that the war has done to the country becomes evident. Fatema recalls: "Hrak used to be a thriving city. There were shops from one end of town to the other, on both sides of the street. Now it’s all destroyed." This is not a choice to be taken lightly, but these people have decided it is better to live in fear of war and death than live as outcasts in another country. Check out http://audible.com/thegreatwar for a free trial and a free audiobook from the great selection that Audible has to offer. This episode contains images that are orphaned works for which the copyright holder is not known. The Battle for Lake Tanganyika in German East Africa was one of the most bizarre battles of World War 1. It only really started once the Royal Navy had carried two boats through the jungle and the mountains from Capetown. Their names: Mimi and Toutou. Their commander: Geoffrey Spicer-Simson, probably the weirdest high ranking officer in the entire war. » HOW CAN I SUPPORT YOUR CHANNEL?
