In the second half of December and first half of January, Russia advanced around Bakhmut, taking Soledar (https://youtu.be/TmpWByOr6JQ), while in the second half of January, Russian regained initiative counterattacking on the Kreminna axis and gaining ground around Bakhmut, while the West announced that Ukraine will finally receive Leopard 2, Challenger 2 and Abrams tanks alongside more armoured vehicles (https://youtu.be/eoIbUUPCkKg).
