We found him. After visiting the Mercado Sonora Witchcraft Market in Mexico City for a Limpia, or spiritual cleaning... a string of bad luck had every asking me... Am I cursed? We decided to ask our friends in Mexico City if they knew anyone that could dive a bit deeper into why I was having such bad luck. Ever the skeptic about these things, I was hesitant to pursue another witch, or to push too far into the realm of White and Black Magic. We were directed to a man named Don Carlos. Who was a master of the Tarot, and was apparently quite gifted. He only appeared in the evenings on a particular bench in Coyoacan, an ancient part of Mexico City. We didn t have much to go by. We just knew the location of the bench, we had no idea what he looked like. Later that evening, he showed himself, and we were able to speak with him... this is the video of that experience. Trying to see if this mysterious man could heal this supposed curse. It s unbelievable. Not even 24h after my iPhone X was stolen in an Uber, my wallet disappears. After visiting the Mexico City Witchcraft market (Mercado Sonora) last week, I have been asked many times.. Have I been cursed? Did the witch that did the Limpia, the spiritual cleaning... actually do the opposite? I had to go back and watch the footage again. I didn t understand everything the witch was saying the first time. When we wanted to film, she insisted no. We kept pushing and she eventually said that she would do a fake limpia spell but "It will not do him good" We clarified that it didn t necessarily mean it was going to do me bad... it just mean t it wouldn t do anything. She responded again "It won t do him good" She then proceeded to channel her invisible assassins, terrorists, and body guards (her words) to put a cleaning spell on me. We later heard this witch was an imposter, and not who she said she was. So what did you use on me Black Magic, or White Magic? I honestly don t believe too much in these things, but I have to wonder why so many problems happened right after? Coincidence? It s just so strange. We are hoping to find a mystery man to fix this problem, and clean my bad luck. I can t believe I had my iPhone X stolen from the back of an Uber in Mexico City. Surprisingly few things of mine have been stolen while travelling. Safety and street sense is something I always pride myself on, but in this case, I wasn t ready for this scenario. I was finishing up playing some old school games with a friend at a place called Taco Game, and took an uber back with a cool driver through a sketchy part of town. We were talking about minimum wage in Mexico, and how people work very hard and receive very little money. As we were driving through Calle Nuevo Leon in Condesa Neighbourhood, we say many prostitutes on the side of the road, and the conversation drifted towards whether that is a lurative job than say, working in a restaurant or a little corner store. We stopped to ask, that was a mistake. To be honest, I was quite impressed with the system apple has set up to deal with lost or stolen iphones. We immediately tried Find my iPhone on the Uber driver s phone, but she had turned it off. When I returned to my apartment I could put the iPhone 10 on "Lost Mode" where we could program a phone number and a custom message to appear on the lock screen. Also, I was given the option to Erase it completely, making it unusable to anybody without my unique apple ID in the future. Wiping it however, removes the tracking feature from the phone. All this only can happen if they iPhone if turned on and connected to the internet again. A new user would need to connect to the internet to be able to use it. As of 48 hours later. The phone has still not been turned on. If there is a need to make a part 2.
