Island hopping is always more fun with some Budots! The last time I did Budots dance was my 100000 Subscribers video party with the fighter boys in 2018 in Davao City. Myself and the Fighter Boys, Kyle "Kulas" Jennermann of Becoming Filipino, Daniel Marsh, Bret Maverick, and Finn Snow land on San Vicente island after visiting Capul. We went to visit the pink beach, and try some snorkeling on this beautiful Island. This concludes the Fighter Boy vlog series, but at this rate, I think before too long I ll be living in the Philippines. As a foreigner here, there are so many interesting things to film. Another Kyoto must-visit! We woke up early to visit Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto, Japan. This is the famed shrine with 10,000 red gates lining a path through the wooded forest of Mount Inari. The shrine is dedicated to Inari (伏見稲荷大社), the Shinto god of rice agriculture, but he is also worshipped by those in business. The foxes seen throughout the shrine are regarded as Inari s messengers - one of them holds a key in his mouth symbolizing the keys to the rice granary. The red torii gates along the entire trail, are all donations by both individuals and companies. Also, if this place looks familiar, you probably recognize it from the movie Memoirs of a Geisha ! Fushimi Inari Taisha (伏見稲荷大社) is a must-visit attraction in Kyoto, Japan. As one of the most iconic Instagram worthy places to visit in Kyoto (and all of Japan) we d highly recommend waking up as early as possible to visit before it becomes impossibly busy with crowds. The earlier you get there the more likely you will have opportunities to snap photos without other people being in them. Furthermore, the further up you hike the more you have Fushimi Inari Taisha (伏見稲荷大社) to yourself. Have you visited Fushimi Inari Taisha in Kyoto, Japan? Would you like to visit this attraction in Kyoto? Hey guys! We are Samuel and Audrey, a vlogging travel couple from Canada. In this travel channel, we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world. Our most recent trip was to Japan where we spent 2 months travelling around the country and visiting the following destinations: Osaka, Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, Nikko, Takayama, Yokohama, Odaiba, Shirakawa-gō and Takao. During our stay, we visited a mixture of big cities and small rural towns, where we enjoyed eating Japanese street food, trying traditional Japanese cuisine, visiting local attractions and staying in unique accommodations (such as capsule hotels and ryokans) that we are now going to share with you on this channel. The combination and contrast of visiting futuristic cities and traditional countryside areas is what makes travel to Japan so fascinating. Ultra modern versus traditional. This is the essence of Japan. Our trip to Japan was unforgettable and until now it is one of our favourite countries that we have come to know. However, we only feel as though we just scratched the surface on this trip to Japan. If you want to see more videos from Japan in the future, let us know in the comments that places you d like us to travel to and food experiences you would like to see on this travel channel. Have you travelled to Japan before? What was your experience like? Please share your Japan travel tips, advice and experiences in the comments below. Thanks again for watching our Japan series! After so many years in the works, I’m so excited to finally be able to share a tour of our very own tiny house on wheels in New Zealand. I started this project almost 5 years ago now, and it’s wonderful to now be able to share the finished home with you. For those of you who have been following my journey since the very beginning, you’ve been waiting a long time for this one! If you enjoy our videos, please consider supporting us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/livingbig At roughly 15 square meters (160 square feet) this tiny home is completely off the grid, generating all of its power from the sun and collecting rain water. It’s designed to fit into the dimensions for legal travel on New Zealand’s roads To find out more about the details and construction of this tiny house, be sure to visit our website: https://www.livingbiginatinyhouse.com/projects/the-seed-of-life-tiny-house-nz/ Currently parked up in an urban driveway, this home is designed to be simple, affordable and easily relocated, as what first attracted me to the idea of tiny homes was the concept of being able to own a home without owning the land that it sits on. While the home may be simple, it’s everything that we need! I hope you enjoy the full tour. During a recent shoot at our Westerly project, Tom Silva taught two of our apprentices how to properly install a window. First, he covered his method for prepping the rough opening. Then he showed them how to hang the window so that it is level, plumb, and square. Once the window was hung, he illustrated how to flash it properly to create a watertight seal. On Friday, May 24th at 11am EST, we’ll premiere this 30-minute video with Tom Silva and a Marvin installation technician answering your questions, live! 💡 Bright Side now has MERCH! (And it s open globally!) Check it out at: http://bit.ly/2OJubyA If you look up the word “frustration” in the dictionary, you’ll probably see a picture of a Rubik’s Cube. It takes some bright minds only 5 seconds to solve, yet others spend years trying to put it together, eventually giving up. But the truth is that anyone can solve the Rubik’s Cube with one single algorithm! And it’s really simple! So, today s algorithm includes 7 stages. You can pause the video and practice until you can do all these moves pretty much automatically. It’ll help you later on! Other videos you might like: 15 Puzzles That Will Keep You Up All Night https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ugAUMbceVNU& 10 Detective Riddles Only the Most Attentive 1% Can Solve https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5fIaUK1fQwA& Only the Most Attentive 4% Will Pass This Test https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtbXPdCEhPk& TIMESTAMPS: #1. Solve the white cross on the bottom 2:54 #2. Solve the four corner pieces on the bottom 4:23 #3. Solve the four edge pieces in the middle layer 5:43 #4. Solve the yellow edges on the top layer 7:10 #5. Solve the four edge pieces on the top layer 7:55 #6. Orient the yellow corners on the top layer 9:15 #7. Solve the yellow corners on the top layer 9:54 #rubikscube #riddles #brainteasers Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - #1. The task here is to put together a white cross, and align its edges with the right colored center on each side. - #2. At this stage, you’ll have to put the lower corners of the cube in the right places, and the white side of the cube will be solved. Here’s where you’ll use that R U R’ U’ algorithm for your right hand. - #3. At this stage, you’ll need to solve the rest of the middle layer so that the outer blocks are the same color as the center. In the first case, the layer you’ll be working with is to the LEFT on the top of the target position. You must match it with the right color. - #4. First, you put together a yellow cross on the yellow side of the cube. If you don’t see the yellow line but only a random set of yellow edges, start doing the algorithm. As soon as you see the yellow line, start doing the same algorithm! - #5. Now we need to arrange the edges of the yellow cross so that the second color coincides with the color of that side. - #6. At this stage, the task is to put the corners in place with the appropriate colors of neighboring centers. You only need to move them into place – you’re not solving them just yet. - #7. You’re almost done! All you have to do is solve the corners! Use the algorithm you already know in a slightly modified order until the corner is solved. In this mindful makeover, designer Sam Sacks shows us how she reinvented an 800-square-foot hunting shack into a spacious oasis for the whole family. She completely transformed the original space and added an addition, which holds enough space for her family of five. The cottage exudes serenity and bohemian vibes thanks to rustic materials like wood, rattan and leather. The designer defines laid-back liveability with an organized IKEA kitchen, ample comfy seating and an airy principal bedroom with views of the lake. The quantum computation relies on the number-theoretic analysis of the factoring problem via modular arithmetic mod N (where N is the number to be factored), and finding the order or period of a random coprime number mod N. The exponential speedup comes in part from the use of the quantum fast fourier transform which achieves interference among frequencies that are not related to the period (period-finding is the goal of the QFT FFT). We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

However old we might be, none of us is ever quite emotionally mature - but having a list to hand of what maturity consists of might be a way of keeping score and nudging ourselves in the right direction. You realise that most of the bad behaviour of other people really comes down to fear and anxiety – rather than, as it is generally easier to presume, nastiness or idiocy. You loosen your hold on self-righteousness and stop thinking of the world as populated by either monsters or fools. It makes things less black and white at first, but in time, a great deal more interesting. 2. You learn that what is in your head can’t automatically be understood by other people. You realise that, unfortunately, you will have to articulate your intentions and feelings with the use of words – and can’t fairly blame others for not getting what you mean until you’ve spoken calmly and clearly.” MORE SCHOOL OF LIFE Visit us in person at our London HQ: https://www.theschooloflife.com/london/about-us/ Watch more films on SELF in our playlist: http://bit.ly/TSOLself You can submit translations and transcripts on all of our videos here: https://www.youtube.com/timedtext_cs_panel?c=UC7IcJI8PUf5Z3zKxnZvTBog&tab=2 Find out how more here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/6054623?hl=en-GB SOCIAL MEDIA Feel free to follow us at the links below: 2HxH3C0 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/theschooloflifelondon/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/TheSchoolOfLife Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/theschooloflifelondon/ CREDITS Produced in collaboration with: Sophie Olga De Jong http://www.sophieolga.com/ Title animation produced in collaboration with Vale Productions https://www.valeproductions.co.uk/

The native people of Amami Ōshima, a remote Japanese island, harvest and eat cycad—a plant that in its rare form can be deadly because it’s packed with poison. Over the years, the islanders have developed a way to remove the toxins and now use the cycad plant to make everything from noodles to mochi. But why do they bother going through the process at all? During U.S. occupation of Japan after World War II, the people of Amami had no access to the mainland and were struck by famine as resources dwindled. The only staple they had on the island was the cycad—so, out of necessity, they had to discover ways of removing the poison to make the plant safe for consumption. Today, the practice of cooking with cycad lives on as a treasured tradition—a way for the people of Amami to never forget their history and honor the ancestors that came before them.
