To make this exercise more effective, retract your shoulder blades and control the weight at all times. - #2. The decline dumbbell fly will help you get a good stretch as well as contraction. Besides developing your lower pecs, the decline dumbbell fly also trains your upper chest, biceps, and the front of your shoulders. - #3. The main trick while doing chest dips is to lean forward and put pressure on your chest rather than your triceps or shoulders. Also, your elbows should be a bit wider than your shoulders - this way, you ll exercise your chest better. - #4. The machine chest press not only targets your lower pecs, but also develops your biceps and deltoids. To make this exercise as effective as possible, retract your shoulder blades and try to tighten mostly your chest muscles. - #5. Even though dumbbell pull-overs work mostly your pecs, they re also pretty effective for training your triceps, abs, upper back muscles, and glutes. - #6. Cable crossover exercise doesn t involve any triceps activity, that s why it allows you to concentrate on your lower chest. Remember to squeeze your chest muscles when you re in the contracted position. - #8. The seated machine fly is a great exercise for working both your inner and outer pecs, as well as your anterior delts. Remember to breathe normally while doing this exercise and don t press into your feet: after all, the purpose is to train your pecs, not your legs. - #9. While most people consider push-ups a warm-up exercise, it s actually quite effective for developing your chest muscles. The main trick to make this area work better is to position your hands wider than shoulder-width apart. Trace out an outline of the utensils on a piece of paper and cut it out to use as a template on the wood. 2. Place the paper template on the scrap wood being used for the utensils. Trace the outline over a decent section of the wood with straight grain and no knots. 3. Cut the scrap wood into a workable piece using the cross-cutting side of a Japanese pull saw. 4. While still using the Japanese pull saw, make relief cuts along the outline of the utensils. This will make the wood easier to cut later on. 5. Make a rough thickness cut using the Japanese pull saw so that the utensils are roughly the desired depth. This can be fine-tuned later. 6. Use the coping saw to cut out the outline of the utensil. The relief cuts should make this step easier. 7. Start fine-tuning the shape of each utensil using a variety of hand tools. The spoke shave is good for the handle, and the rasp is a little better for the head of the utensil. 8. Scoop out the heads of each utensil using a curved gouge. Using the gouge, work your way to the lowest point of the utensil in the center and then come back up. Work all the way around the head of each utensil to give the curve a unified look. 9. Sand the utensils smooth using 80, 120, and 240 grit sandpaper. 10. Wipe down the utensils with a tack cloth. 11. Apply a food grade wood finish using a rag. Some of these tools can be found at home centers, but it will be easier to locate them all at specialty woodworking shops. The sandpaper Tom and Kevin used to smooth down the utensils can be found at home centers. Start by crumbling up some paper or newspaper and place it loosely underneath the grate. 2. Take two of the biggest logs and place them parallel with the back of the fireplace on top of the grate. Leave space between them for the flames to reach up over the logs. 3. Take some of the smaller logs and place them perpendicular on top of the bigger logs. 4. Place the kindling on top of the smaller logs in a loose pile. 5. Prime the chimney by lighting one of the pieces of paper on fire with a match or lighter and hold it up in the chimney. This should start an up draft to ensure the smoke will rise right away. 6. If the paper is long enough and it’s still safe to do so, use that same paper to light the pile of paper underneath the grate. 7. Place the burning paper on top of the kindling. This should create a strong draft that will keep the smoke in the chimney and out of the house. The only thing Mark cautions against is burning pine and other softwoods in the fireplace, as it can cause creosote to build up in the chimney which could eventually result in a dangerous chimney fire. If you re going to watch a baseball game in South Korea my biggest tip would be to get tickets early especially if you want to watch a game on the weekend. For popular teams games can be sold out in advance, so snagging a ticket early on is your best bet. Baseball in Korean is called Yagu (야구). Go Lotte Giants! Hey guys! We are Samuel and Audrey, a vlogging travel couple from Canada. In this travel channel we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world. Our most recent trip was to South Korea where I embarked upon a two-week adventure without Audrey. Invited as part of a YouTube vlogging trip, organized by KTO, I spent the first week traveling with other YouTubers in Seoul, Busan and Gyeongju. My second week included independent exploration of Korea with my good friend and fellow YouTuber David of DavidsBeenHere. Having lived and traveled in South Korea, the chance to return to one of my favorite countries was one of the biggest surprises of 2019. On this particular trip, I had an opportunity to do many things I had not previously covered including a visit to the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone between South Korea and North Korea), a Buddhist Temple Stay and a Korean cooking class. It was almost as if the program designed by KTO knew exactly what I had missed out on before. Obviously, a huge highlight from the two weeks I spent revisiting Korea was the food. I feasted on all of my favorite Korean dishes including Korean barbecue, dolsot bibimbap, haemul pajeon, tteokbokki, bulgogi, kimbap and many others. I can honestly say that Korean food is world-class and is one of my top 5 favorite cuisines in the world. Aside from trying familiar dishes, I had the opportunity to sample raw Korean seafood for the first time. While visiting Seoul, highlights included going to Gyeongbokgung Palace, Namsan Seoul Tower, Jogyesa Temple and Hongdae. As one of the biggest cities in the world, I barely scratched the surface of things to do in Seoul. Spending extended time in Busan was my favorite part about the trip with top highlights including a Korean temple stay, fresh fish markets and a Korean baseball game. It was from Busan that we ended up taking a day-trip to Daegu where we enjoyed a traditional Korean market and tried Galbi-Jjim for the first time.
