💡 Brighten your style with our MERCH (open globally!) here: http://bit.ly/2OJubyA What’s the most exotic destination you’ve been to? Hawaii? Australia, Hoboken, New Jersey? Well, today I’m setting off on a journey that’s way more unusual than that – down to the Earth’s core. And I’m inviting you to join me. It’ll be fun! The center of the Earth lies about 4,000 miles below its surface, so it’s gonna be a looong trip. 💥 By the way, guys, be attentive! To make the journey even more fascinating, I ve hidden something interesting in this video. Okay, I ll give you a hint - it s movie references! You definitely saw them because each of those films is iconic. Try to find them all and let everyone know you have a sharp eye in the comments! If you re a video game fan, there s a reference for you too. But this one is really difficult. 😽 And, of course, there is a cat hidden in this video. Can you spot it? C mon, prove you re much more attentive than most people! Do you accept the challenge? 😉 Other videos you might like: What Will Happen In The Next 5 Billion Years? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rqn0wL4VS8& Who Lives In the Deepest Place On Earth? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sq4lbCC24js& How Deep Can You Possibly Dig? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zU_CiB2GnQ& TIMESTAMPS: Smashing through the Earth s crust 0:28 Was that a crocodile? It’s roughly 21 miles thick and is made up of basaltic rocks that are under the sea, and granitic rocks that make up the continents. - Nile Crocodiles dig the deepest burrows among all animals, so you can find them at 39 feet under ground. - There are whole underground cities with shelters and catacombs in different countries. The deepest of them lies at 278 feet under Cappadocia in Turkey. - Continental crust is about 2 billion years old and it covers about 40 percent of the Earth (yeah, the rest is oceanic crust). - In 2004, a half-marathon was organized in the Bochnia Salt Mine in Poland. It was the deepest half-marathon ever – you don’t often see people running at a depth of 695 feet after all. - The Earth’s crust serves as an electric blanket that covers the mantle. It’s rich in the radioactive elements uranium, thorium, and potassium, which produce heat! - The oceanic crust is never too far, and its average depth is 4.3 miles. It covers around 60 percent of the surface of our planet, and is thinner, denser and younger than the continental crust. - The pressure is getting more and more extreme, and it’s getting colder and colder down here. This is the deepest point where earthquakes are born – the ones that come from here are rare, and get pretty weak by the time they’ve traveled 435 miles up to the surface. - At 1,814 miles deep, the mantle ends and the outer core begins. It’s a sunless sea of super hot liquid metal that’s about the size of Mars. - Once every several thousand years, something happens in this layer: the magnetic poles reverse, and north and south change places. - At 2,750 miles, the inner core welcomes you! It’s the hottest, innermost part of the planet. - The inner core is nearly the size of the Moon, and makes up 2 per cent of the Earth’s mass. - Not so long ago, British scientists found out that the inner core is relatively young – probably somewhere between 500 and 1,000 million years old, and that’s nothing in terms of Earth science. - Now, for those of you who are thinking of packing your bags to go see the Earth’s core, I have some not-so-good news: it’s technically not possible yet, because there’s no way to survive the pressure and extreme heat that are waiting down there. Our Argentina trip starts now! The biggest travel and food series we ve ever created is kicking off in this travel blog by visiting Buenos Aires for 3 days. Firstly, we highlight our flight from Toronto to Buenos Aires in the dead of winter in Canada arriving in Argentina in mid-summer - a 70 degree weather change! Our first order of business in Buenos Aires is to grab great local food in Recoleta so we head over to one of favorite restaurants in the city Bodegon Norte to grab a meal consisting of Milanesa, salad, ravioli pasta with a bottle of Argentine wine. We then grab Argentine ice cream (helado) at Rapa Nui including dulce de leche flavour. We start off day two with breakfast in Buenos Aires at La Biela having cafe con leche with media luna. Afterwards we check out the nicest bookstore in the city, and one of the most beautiful in the world, El Ateneo before grabbing pizza slices at Banchero. We finish the day off visiting Recoleta cemetery one of the most famous attractions in Buenos Aires. For our last day in Buenos Aires we start off with facturas and coffee for breakfast before heading to Puerto Madero for a stroll and a ship museum. For lunch we have delicious Argentine parrilla (grilled beef) with Malbec wine. Overall, this was our 3 days itinerary in Buenos Aires. We ll be back again soon! We are Samuel and Audrey, a travel vlogging couple from Canada. In this travel channel we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world. We had the privilege of traveling around Argentina for nearly 3 months from January- April 2019 on a trip covering a large section of the country. We kicked things off with several days in Buenos Aires where we were joined by Audrey s parents eating and sightseeing around some of our favourite neighbourhoods in the city. We then flew from Buenos Aires to Cordoba where we spent a couple of weeks in the Sierras of Cordoba visiting both La Cumbrecita and Villa General Belgrano with highlights including hiking and delicious German and Swiss cuisine. From Cordoba, we then travelled a considerable distance on an overnight bus to Mar Del Plata just in time for a special food festival called Feria Masticar featuring the best of Argentine food and wine. We spent several days enjoying beaches and seafood before heading south to Patagonia to visit the province of Chubut. While on the Atlantic side of Chubut we visited Puerto Madryn, Peninsula Valdes, Trelew, Gaiman and Dolavon. To summarize our time in this area, we had incredibly close encounters with wildlife including penguins, sea lions and guanacos while also experiencing Welsh culture in Argentina. Our time in Patagonia continued as we headed from east to west trading more barren landscapes for thick forests, impressive mountains and magnificent lakes. We spent significant time in both Esquel and El Bolson with day trips to visit Trevelin, Parque Nacional Los Alerces, Cholila and Lago Puelo. Highlights included sailing, hiking, riding vintage trains and partaking in the national asado festival. We finished visiting Patagonia with time spent in Villa La Angostura, San Martin De Los Andes and Bariloche where we enjoyed more stunning scenery and hiking. On our way back to Buenos Aires, we took the Tren Patagonia to Las Grutas before meeting up with Audrey s dad again. To finish off our trip in Argentina, we spent more time in the capital and later Mendoza where we got to experience wine tourism to its fullest extent. Overall, we had an amazing time travelling around Argentina having only scratched the surface of this vast and diverse country. Overall our Argentina travel series explores cities, small towns that are off-the-beaten-path, and scenic attractions with a strong emphasis on Argentina cuisine and local culture. * * * If you re new to our channel or this Argentina series please check out the following playlists to get caught up on all of our videos: All of our Argentina travel + food videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-NQ0KYodq5PhZWxGB15SbFqFBaKMts2- *** This is part of our Travel in Argentina video series showcasing Argentine food, Argentine culture and Argentine cuisine. * * * Music We Use: http://bit.ly/SamAudreyMusic

Khaplu in Gilgit-Baltistan in Northern Pakistan in Beautiful. In this travel vlog we start out at Khaplu palace, where we had previously spent the night. Here we’re invited to a high tea in a balcony overlooking the towering mountains surrounding the area. While driving along the Karakoram Highway, we saw some kids playing soccer in the Cold Desert. We stopped to go film this incredible game in the blowing sand, when returning to the road a traveling troop of musicians had pulled over as well, they saw us with cameras, came down from the top of the van and started a party. We all joined! Pakistan tourism is on the rise. It s often called a dangerous place to travel. Our purpose was to spend our time, as foreigners in Pakistan to disprove this, and show the beauty of the people and the landscape to the world. CPIC Global sponsored out trip, but we did so without any security or military escorts. The only trouble we got into was bumpy roads. While normally I solo travel, I was excited to have so many friends on the trip. What do cinnamon rolls, a rose garden, and fresh linen have in common? That’s right, they all smell so good you can’t get enough of that aroma. The good news is your house can smell just as dreamy if you follow some simple tips! Do you know, for example, how vinegar can help you combat stinky toilet? Or why you should keep baking soda in your fridge? Or how to deodorize your bathroom? Oh, this one is really cool! Just sprinkle the cardboard tube inside toilet paper roll with a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Whenever you rip off a piece of toilet paper in the future, the essential oil smell will come out and deodorize the room! Other videos you might like: Put Vinegar Into a Toilet, and Watch What Happens https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dNGF9PRkBY& Pour Baking Soda on Your Bed, and See What Happens https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQqjnyrT0ms& Don t Throw Away These Bags, See What They Can Do! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uD2TO4Ley4Y& TIMESTAMPS: Take good care of the trash can 0:31 Use dryer sheets as a deodorant 1:10 Spread the aroma through the vents 1:30 Clean the carpet 1:52 Onions to freshen your basement 2:24 Combat mold for good 2:47 No more stinky sneakers 3:20 Take care of the washing machine 3:41 Start your own spa 4:09 Keep the toilets shiny clean 4:39 Let it roll 5:05 Lemons for your garbage disposal 5:28 Wash away dishwasher smell 5:51 Baking soda for the fridge 6:21 Make use of coffee grounds 6:42 Vanilla extract in your freezer 7:00 Chase away the smell of fried fish 7:18 Use citrus power 7:45 Clean the microwave 8:21 Get some house plants 8:46 Take care of the kitty litter box 9:02 #cleaning #aromatherapy #brightside SUMMARY: - Before you put a new empty bag inside the can, clean it well, because the can itself accumulates smells that stick around. - Use dryer sheets as a deodorant. Place them in shoe closets, musty areas, trash cans, and gym bags. - Another tip with dryer sheets that works like magic – put a few of them behind the vents in every room. - To chase away bacteria that accumulates in the carpet and get rid of urine smells, rub the carpet with a vinegar and water mix with a cloth, and then rinse it well with water. - Your favorite sneakers can make the whole closet stink, but that’s no reason to throw them away. Instead, try sprinkling baking soda inside them and leave it overnight. - Tie some strong fragrant herbs like lemon balm, thyme or rosemary in the far corner of the shower to keep them away from water. - Another obvious stinky source is the toilet. Vinegar will help you combat that. Pour one cup inside, and spray the seat and the outsides with it as well. - To keep your garbage disposal from smelling like total trash, drop a sliced lemon, lime or an orange in it when it’s running. - Your fridge accumulates all sorts of smells from the food inside. Baking soda, with its unique chemical properties, will help to absorb them and make it smell neutral. - Stuff a nylon stocking with coffee grounds and keep it in the back of the fridge for a natural deodorizing effect. - To fix the odor problems in your ice box, swipe it on the inside with a cotton ball soaked in vanilla extract. - To make your kitchen, or the entire house, smell like a citrus garden, use orange peels! Dry them overnight, then boil 5 or 6 of them in a pot of water with the lid off for a couple of hours. - To make the microwave smell like new with basically no effort, drop a sponge or rag you use to do the dishes soaked in dishwasher inside and turn it on for about 5 minutes. - Activated charcoal will help you solve the stinky kitty litter problem. It’s naturally great at absorbing odors, especially those produced by pets. Today we re taking you to Mactaquac Provincial Park in New Brunswick! This is a fun and easy day trip from Fredericton, just a 30-minute drive from the city. This summer we ve been prioritizing adventures close to home and exploring our own backyard, so while we were visiting with Sam s parents in Fredericton, we drove out to Mactaquac for a day close to nature. The nice thing about Mactaquac is that the trails are short and easy (the longest is 2.4 kilometres), which makes it very accessible to the whole family. We tackled Little Mactaquac Trail, Beaver Pond Trail, and Alex Creek Trail. We saw birds, frogs and even had a really cool encounter with a river otter. After hiking all morning, we had lunch at MOCO, a restaurant located by the golf course in the park. Here we chowed down on poutine, burgers and fries, a seafood cheese melt, and a fettucini alfredo with shrimp and scallops. It was a really fun day close to nature and we didn t have to travel that far! We hope you guys enjoy this video and get a little taste of what summer in New Brunswick is like. * * * * * GEAR WE USE Panasonic GH5: http://amzn.to/2yqTUyi Canon G7X ii: http://amzn.to/2yqtM6B Rode Video Micro: http://amzn.to/2wTguTM Joby Gorilla Pod: http://amzn.to/1PgoY5F SanDisk 16GB Extreme Pro: http://amzn.to/25KEErs * * * * * SOCIAL MEDIA & TRAVEL BLOGS AUDREY: blog: http://thatbackpacker.com/ instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thatbackpacker/ facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thatbackpacker twitter: https://twitter.com/ThatBackpacker SAMUEL: blog: http://nomadicsamuel.com/ facebook: https://www.facebook.com/nomadicsamuel twitter: https://twitter.com/NomadicSamuel instagram: https://www.instagram.com/nomadicsamuel/ * * * * * Music We Use: http://bit.ly/SamAudreyMusic

Bears live throughout the world, from Canada to the Andes, and Northern Europe to Southeast Asia. These intelligent, muscular omnivores usually prefer to keep their distance from humans, but can be a serious threat on the rare occasion when they turn violent. Picture this: one day you re on a relaxing stroll through the woods, taking in the fresh morning air. Suddenly, your relaxation is interrupted by the sound of twigs snapping behind you. You turn around and are suddenly face to face with a grizzly bear the size of your car. Now, what are you going to do? On average, there are only about three fatal attacks per year. - Bears generally try to avoid humans when we come near. It’s very common for hikers and campers to come within a few hundred feet of a bear and never know it. - When bears turn violent, it’s usually because they’re surprised and frightened, or trying to protect their cubs. - Keep toothpaste out of your tent. Many species of bear are known to be attracted to the smell. A little bit of morning breath is worth it if it means keeping your summer activities bear-free. - If you’ve stumbled upon a family of black bears, you’re in luck. These smaller breeds prefer to avoid conflict whenever possible and will usually retreat when threatened instead of becoming aggressive. - Brown bears including the infamous North American Grizzly, tend to be much more aggressive when threatened. - Brown bears will not take your aggressive tone very well, and in the wild, it can be much more difficult to tell them apart then you might think. - Very rarely though, the bear won t just appear aggressive, it might actually be aggressive. If it continues to follow you even as you back away, it s time to think about fighting back. - Look the bear in the eyes and shout while making yourself look bigger. Stamp your feet on the ground and maybe even take a step or two towards it. - Kick it, punch it, insult it’s mother, hit it with a stick or a rock, focus on the eyes and nose and do whatever you have to do because, at this point, you re fighting for your life. - Always remember to remain calm, keep your distance, and back away from any fight that isn’t completely unavoidable. We’ve all seen a conductor standing in front of an orchestra wielding a baton. All the baton waving might look random to the untrained eye, but there is meaning in every gesture. Gustavo Dudamel, the conductor of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, shows us how he guides the musicians using his body and eye contact. This Great Big Story was made possible by B.Grimm. This restaurant in Weissbad, Switzerland, is remote, to say the least. Perched on the side of a mountain in the Swiss Alps, it’s at an elevation of about 5,000 feet above ground level. Even if you take a cable car, you’ve got to hike steep terrain at least part of the way. That said, it’s a beautiful journey that takes you through a 40,000-year-old cave and by a chapel carved right into the mountain. And you’re following in the footsteps of hungry hikers who have been trekking to this restaurant for 173 years.
