This Top 5 list of things to do in Bali, isn t your normal list of tourist attractions. These are for hardcore travellers, ones that aren t afraid to dive deep into the cracks, and see things that I guarentee aren t in any other bali vlog in 2019. As tourists flock to Kelingking beach, Nusa Penida, the Bali swing, and Canggu, there is a whole other side to this magical island in Indonesia. One that would satisfy even the wildest adventurer, and treads the line of Dark Tourism. HERE S THE GEOTAGGED LIST ON TROVER: https://www.trover.com/l/6nRP2-bali%e2%80%99s-secrets The app is free, and it s great to find hidden gems near your location. Check it out and give me a follow ;) 1. The Sunken Temple Garden (Devata Vishnu) Rumoured to be thousands of years old (it s not) these beautiful dive site is an artificial reef made to resemble a Hindu temple. It s located in the far west of Bali. I recommend visiting with Reef Seen Divers, the creators of the attraction. 2.The Ghost Palace Hotel (Bedugul Taman Rekreasi Hotel) An enourmous abandoned hotel right by the highway in the central part of Bali. For a sneaky dollar you can get in and explore this incredible place yourself. The view and intricately caved Naga statues make this place a wild adventure. 3. USAT Liberty Shipwreck (Tulamben, Bali) Torpedoed by the Japanese, and sunk by a volcano in North Eastern Bali, this shipwreck is laying in shallow water. Very few places to you find ships this size, this close to shore. Even snorkelers can enjoy this massive steel cathedral. I ve never seen anything like it. 4. Goa Gajah (The Elephant Temple) Just a short distance from Ubud, Bali, this strange temple doesn t get many visitors. Its giant gaping mouth doorway is the main attraction. The photos are amazing. 5. Trunyan Cemetery (Kuburan Terunyan) For hundreds of years, the deceased of the nearby town of Trunyan have been laid open face at the base of a sweet smelling tree. Its said both smells cancel each other out. It s one of the most shocking things I ve ever seen. Do you notice every little detail about your surroundings right away? If yes, then you didn t miss the fact that all planes have a green light on the end of one wing, and a red one on the other. Why do they have different colors? Actually, these high-intensity red and green lights, together with a white light located on the tail, are the plane s navigation lights. The red light is always on the left wingtip, and the green one is always on the right. These navigation lights are on at all times. Apart from navigation lights, planes have red rotating beacon lights installed on the upper and lower fuselage. Let s find out what they are for! This lets them know there s a plane passing from right to left. Green and white means the plane is flying from left to right. - When the red blinking light is on, it s a warning for the ground crew and other planes that the engines are about to start, and it s dangerous to come near. - And just like a car, a plane has headlights that help the pilot see the runway during landing and take off. - Seeing the hypnotizing swirl on jet engines prompts the ground staff to stay away. - The outer pane bears the most pressure, and the hole in the middle one helps regulate the pressure difference to make sure passengers don t experience a lack of oxygen. - There’s a magic button near the hinge under the armrest closest to the aisle that will make your trip instantly much more comfortable. After pressing it, you can freely move that armrest up, making it parallel to the back of your seat. - When a plane takes off or lands at night or dusk, the cabin crew wants your eyes to get adjusted to the darkness. Usually, it takes up to 30 minutes to fully adjust to a dark setting. - Can a plane door open mid-flight? If, for some reason, this question worries you when your plane is about to take off, then let me put your fears to rest – it’s impossible. - Statistics say that lightning still hits every commercial plane once a year. But in most cases, this leaves a plane with only minor damage, like a scorch mark on its surface. - Actually, all commercial airplanes are designed with seats and windows perfectly aligned. But when a specific airline buys a plane, it’s up to them to decide how many seats it’ll have. - Most airlines insist that there is no safest seat. But the statistics of airplane crashes supports the idea that it’s at the back. - Many airliners have secret, windowless bedrooms for the cabin crew that include from 6 to 10 bunks. We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this YouTube channel to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling! So we extended our 1 year trip to now FOUR years :) Now we have a goal of traveling to 100 countries before 2020! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

In today s video, we attend our first food festival in Argentina! Feria Masticar is a food festival that celebrates Argentine food and drink, and draws hungry foodies from far and wide - ourselves included. The event hosts numerous classes and seminars for cooking enthusiasts, and it also brings together some of the most highly acclaimed chefs and restaurants. The festival is usually held in Buenos Aires, but this year they expanded to the coastal city of Mar del Plata and what better reason to visit! In this video, we ll show you some of the Argentine dishes we tried including: 1) Calamari chorizo with pickled vegetables 2) Pork sandwich with Japanese BBQ sauce and coleslaw 3) Obama pizza with pepperoni and cheese 4) Super sorrentos stuffed with ground lamb confit, sundried tomatoes and mushroom sauce 5) Sauvignon blanc by Costa y Pampa 6) Churros stuffed with dulce de leche 7) Super dulce de leche ice cream cone 8) Wild boar hamburger And that was just our first day at the food fair! We came back the following day to try some other Argentine dishes, so stay tuned for that. * * * * * * * * * * * * GEAR WE USE Panasonic GH5: http://amzn.to/2yqTUyi Canon G7X ii: http://amzn.to/2yqtM6B Rode Video Micro: http://amzn.to/2wTguTM Joby Gorilla Pod: http://amzn.to/1PgoY5F SanDisk 16GB Extreme Pro: http://amzn.to/25KEErs * * * * * * * * * * * * SOCIAL MEDIA & TRAVEL BLOGS AUDREY: blog: http://thatbackpacker.com/ instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thatbackpacker/ facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thatbackpacker twitter: https://twitter.com/ThatBackpacker SAMUEL: blog: http://nomadicsamuel.com/ facebook: https://www.facebook.com/nomadicsamuel twitter: https://twitter.com/NomadicSamuel instagram: https://www.instagram.com/nomadicsamuel/ * * * * * * * * * * * * ARGENTINE FOOD FESTIVAL IN ARGENTINA: Feria Masticar in Mar del Plata!: Hey guys! We are Samuel and Audrey, a travel vlogging couple from Canada. In this travel channel we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world. We had the privilege of traveling around Argentina for nearly 3 months from January- April 2019 on a trip covering a large section of the country. We kicked things off with several days in Buenos Aires where we were joined by Audrey s parents eating and sightseeing around some of our favourite neighbourhoods in the city. We then flew from Buenos Aires to Cordoba where we spent a couple of weeks in the Sierras of Cordoba visiting both La Cumbrecita and Villa General Belgrano with highlights including hiking and delicious German and Swiss cuisine. From Cordoba, we then travelled a considerable distance on an overnight bus to Mar Del Plata just in time for a special food festival called Feria Masticar featuring the best of Argentine food and wine. We spent several days enjoying beaches and seafood before heading south to Patagonia to visit the province of Chubut. While on the Atlantic side of Chubut we visited Puerto Madryn, Peninsula Valdes, Trelew, Gaiman and Dolavon. To summarize our time in this area, we had incredibly close encounters with wildlife including penguins, sea lions and guanacos while also experiencing Welsh culture in Argentina. Our time in Patagonia continued as we headed from east to west trading more barren landscapes for thick forests, impressive mountains and magnificent lakes. We spent significant time in both Esquel and El Bolson with day trips to visit Trevelin, Parque Nacional Los Alerces, Cholila and Lago Puelo. Highlights included sailing, hiking, riding vintage trains and partaking in the national asado festival. We finished visiting Patagonia with time spent in Villa La Angostura, San Martin De Los Andes and Bariloche where we enjoyed more stunning scenery and hiking. On our way back to Buenos Aires, we took the Tren Patagonia to Las Grutas before meeting up with Audrey s dad again. To finish off our trip in Argentina, we spent more time in the capital and later Mendoza where we got to experience wine tourism to its fullest extent. Overall, we had an amazing time travelling around Argentina having only scratched the surface of this vast and diverse country. Overall our Argentina travel series explores cities, small towns that are off-the-beaten-path, and scenic attractions with a strong emphasis on Argentina cuisine and local culture. * * * If you re new to our channel or this Argentina series please check out the following playlists to get caught up on all of our videos: All of our Argentina travel + food videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL-NQ0KYodq5PhZWxGB15SbFqFBaKMts2- *** This is part of our Travel in Argentina video series showcasing Argentine food, Argentine culture and Argentine cuisine. :)

We all use it. But is it real? I mean, you can touch a coin or bill, but who decided that’s worth anything? And what about all those 1’s and 0’s getting swapped and traded by computers thousands of times per second? How are those worth anything? We trace the history of money, from physical barter to bitcoin, and discover that money isn’t just a lie we all agree to share, it’s been built on the back of technology and invention for millennia. We made ours in 2018, and Chad visited my house in January 2019 to film most of this. We didn t post it for various reasons, but decided now might be a good time. The fidelity of the inference is a function of how you train it.... so obviously the more data points you provide, the better it will perform. This particular type of machine learning is known as object detection, with the computation being performed by a deep neural network "on the edge". The video stream is processed locally and no internet is needed to find the object in real time.
