Come join us as we visit the sculpted forest of Patagonia, Argentina where burnt trees were turned into art in El Bolson. When it comes to hiking in El Bolson this is a must-visit attraction. The views you get of the city are simply spectacular and on top of that the wood carvings are very impressive. The easiest way to reach Bosque Tallado is to take a mini-van which will bring you up the serpentine rural roads to the start of the trail and then pick you up several hours later. After enjoying the wood carvings you can continue hiking to a refugio where you can enjoy a nice snack along with some beverages. Overall, if you re visiting El Bolson this is something we highly recommend. Also, if you re into paragliding this is the area you ll want to visit for an adrenaline filled adventure! No wonder El Bolson is one of our favorite towns in Patagonia. We are Samuel and Audrey, a travel vlogging couple from Canada. In this travel channel we share our travel and food vlogs while touring the world. We had the privilege of traveling around Argentina for nearly 3 months from January- April 2019 on a trip covering a large section of the country. We kicked things off with several days in Buenos Aires where we were joined by Audrey s parents eating and sightseeing around some of our favourite neighbourhoods in the city. We then flew from Buenos Aires to Cordoba where we spent a couple of weeks in the Sierras of Cordoba visiting both La Cumbrecita and Villa General Belgrano with highlights including hiking and delicious German and Swiss cuisine. From Cordoba, we then travelled a considerable distance on an overnight bus to Mar Del Plata just in time for a special food festival called Feria Masticar featuring the best of Argentine food and wine. We spent several days enjoying beaches and seafood before heading south to Patagonia to visit the province of Chubut. While on the Atlantic side of Chubut we visited Puerto Madryn, Peninsula Valdes, Trelew, Gaiman and Dolavon. To summarize our time in this area, we had incredibly close encounters with wildlife including penguins, sea lions and guanacos while also experiencing Welsh culture in Argentina. Our time in Patagonia continued as we headed from east to west trading more barren landscapes for thick forests, impressive mountains and magnificent lakes. We spent significant time in both Esquel and El Bolson with day trips to visit Trevelin, Parque Nacional Los Alerces, Cholila and Lago Puelo. Highlights included sailing, hiking, riding vintage trains and partaking in the national asado festival. We finished visiting Patagonia with time spent in Villa La Angostura, San Martin De Los Andes and Bariloche where we enjoyed more stunning scenery and hiking. On our way back to Buenos Aires, we took the Tren Patagonia to Las Grutas before meeting up with Audrey s dad again. To finish off our trip in Argentina, we spent more time in the capital and later Mendoza where we got to experience wine tourism to its fullest extent. Overall, we had an amazing time travelling around Argentina having only scratched the surface of this vast and diverse country. Start by sanding down the treads to bare wood with the 80 grit sandpaper. This will require a combination of power sanding and hand sanding to get in the tight corners and around balusters. Nathan suggests using a scraper in the corners if the old finish won’t come off. 2. Vacuum off any dust from sanding between passes. Wipe down the treads with a tack cloth to ensure all the dust was removed. 3. Do a second pass of sanding using 120 grit sandpaper. 4. Vacuum and tack cloth the treads again. 5. Apply a coat of polyurethane to the treads using a paintbrush. If desired, a stain can also be applied to the tread before the polyurethane. 6. Allow the polyurethane to dry for a few hours. Lightly sand the tread and get rid of all the dust. 7. Repeat this process two more times. Do not sand after the third coat of polyurethane. Resources: To refinish stair treads, the old finish will need to be completely sanded off. To do this, Nathan used a variety of tools, including a Rotex 150 multi-mode sander [https://amzn.to/2ureWAp] for the majority of the tread (www.festoolusa.com), a scraper for the corner of the stairs, and a Sanding Mouse Hook and Loop Sanding Block [https://amzn.to/2S3AZpV] for around the balusters and the nosing of the tread. The sanding block can be found online.   To remove the dust, Nathan used a HEPA Dust Extractor [https://amzn.to/2vOmVrA] with a brush attachment by Festool (www.festoolusa.com) and a tack cloth [https://amzn.to/2Smvqlr], which can be found at home centers. To apply a new finish, Nathan used a regular paintbrush and a water based polyurethane [https://amzn.to/2ufEbpx] by Rust-Oleum (https://www.rustoleum.com/). Keep your eyes peeled for exciting shows like shark and stingray feeding sessions or even a glass-bottom boat ride. DAY 2 (01:21) 01:24 - Jagalchi Fish Market By far the largest fish market in Korea, you can find (Or taste) the freshest catch here! There is a seafood buffet restaurant on the 5th floor that you can try out huge varieties of seafood dishes.
