In our latest India travel video we’ll be visiting the Golden Temple in Amritsar and eating indian food in the world’s biggest kitchen! The Golden Temple, also known as Harmandir Sahib, happens to feed around 100,000 thousand visitors EVERY SINGLE DAY! And get this, the food is FREE! This community kitchen is known as a ‘langar’ and it’s a place where everyone is welcome to eat regardless of gender, caste or religion. Subscribe to David s Been Here: https://www.youtube.com/user/Davidsbeenhere Subscribe to Deepak at Amritsar Walking Tours: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1nVUbcLU8P_cLDkzQdewOw The kitchen in the Golden Temple never closes and it is run by countless volunteers who devote their time to cook, serve, and clean for visitors who pass through at every hour of the day. I had visited Amritsar’s Golden Temple once before on my very first trip to India over 10 years ago, but this time around, I was joined by Deepak from Amritsar Walking Tours. Having him as a guide allowed me to experience the Golden Temple in a completely different way, and it was a day I won’t soon forget. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Let’s kick off this video! Visiting GOLDEN TEMPLE in Amritsar + Eating INDIAN FOOD in WORLD’S BIGGEST KITCHEN w/ 100000 People! Having an opportunity to revisit the Golden Temple, also known as Harmandir Sahib, was one of the top highlights of my recent trip to India. If I had to compare my impressions visiting the Taj Mahal in Agra and the Golden Temple in Amritsar, I would say my visit to Harmandir Sahib moved me emotionally more than visiting one of the true marvels of India. There is just an energy at the Golden Temple that is hard to describe. The fact that everyone is welcome regardless of race, class or caste is what allows you to feel your ego disappearing. You feel connected with everyone visiting - especially when you sit down for a meal together. Location of the Golden Temple in Amritsar: Harmandir Sahib Gurdwara in India The Darbār Sahib, meaning "exalted court" or Harmandir Sahib, meaning "abode of God", also known as Golden Temple, is a Gurdwara located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India. With four nail gauge sizes to choose from, one size does not fit all carpentry and woodworking applications. Need to know how to pick the right finish nailer? Watch as This Old House Pro2Pro editor Chris Ermides showcases the differences between the types of finish nailers as part of This Old House: Live—[https://bit.ly/2WYiIgp] an initiative providing daily programming and opportunities to connect with our experts during these challenging times. #ThisOldHouse #AskTOH SUBSCRIBE to This Old House: http://bit.ly/SubscribeThisOldHouse When it comes to installing trim around windows, doors, baseboards, crown molding, assembling cabinet parts or installing stair treads and risers, as you can see, one nail gun does not fit all. Each of these nailers covers a range of applications. In some cases there’s overlap, but more often than not—you’re not going to get the results you want by using one when the other is the better option. The difference between them is the gauge nail that they shoot. The most common and readily available types are 15 gauge, 16 gauge, 18 gauge, and 23 gauge. The higher the number, the thinner the nail and the smaller the hole. Designer Rebecca Axler of RTG Designs shares a behind-the-scenes look at a young couple s Toronto home makeover. With two small children and two pets, the original footprint was not providing the space and storage these homeowners so desperately needed. Since they re avid cooks and entertainers, Rebecca wanted to open up the layout, creating more function and flow for adults, kids and furry friends alike. In the entryway, an exposed brick wall and playful wallpaper sets the tone for the rest of the home, while navy blue cabinets and a charming window seat in the kitchen make it a hardworking hub. Plus, you ll want to soak your stresses away in the zen bathroom with a distinctly Italian feel! Every time we think we know the world we live in perfectly well, there s something that reminds us that we don t. Be it a discovery or some true fact we earlier thought was made up. How often do you find yourself saying "Wow! I thought it was the other way round"... This video will definitely make you say it at least a dozen times! For example, did you know that tigers have stripes not only on their fur, but on skin too. It makes me wondering if the same happens with zebras or cows...Wow! Check out all the paintings seen in this video: https://www.touropia.com/most-famous-paintings/ One of the oldest art forms, painting has been around ever since our ancient ancestors first started producing charcoal creations on cave walls. While countless generations of artists have left their mark over the millennia, only some artworks have succeeded in transcending time and culture to be revered around the globe. Now exhibited in museums and art galleries, these fabulous paintings count among the most important, impressive, and influential paintings of all time.

An animated poem exploring how the Covid-19 pandemic has reminded us of the importance of living in harmony with nature. #WorldEnvironmentDay -- As millions around the world shelter at home, the smog melts away, the birds sing, and the waters run clear. What if we used this moment in our lives and in history as an opportunity to jumpstart the rebirth and rewilding of our planet when we go back to work and school? This moment can lead us to a healthier, cleaner, greener future, if only we grasp it. Tom Rivett-Carnac tells the story of what happened when we all stopped. Tom Silva and Kevin O’Connor cruise around Brookline, MA in a ’57 Chevy before rolling up to the latest project: a lackluster 1957 mid-century modern house in need of a total overhaul. Tom picks him up in a beautifully maintained 1957 Chevy and drives him to the house, which was built in the same year but hasn’t stood the test of time. They talk about the exterior features that define the mid-century label. Kevin and Tom meet homeowners Sunil and Neha, and their daughter Nisa. After Richard gives Kevin a quick tour of the lower levels, Sunil and Neha show Tom the living and sleeping levels and describe what they’re hoping to do. Kevin meets architect Linda Hamlin outside and learns about her plan to transform the plain, boxy house on a tight lot into a modern marvel. Linda takes Kevin to another modern home to show him the modern elements she hopes to incorporate into Sunil and Neha’s home. Back at the project house, Kevin meets landscape architect to see his plans for creating private but functional space on a very tight lot that the family can enjoy. His suggestions include a sunken patio, tall skinny trees and a fence along the private way. Demo begins in the lower back bedroom, where Charlie and Tom start to tear out the wood paneling and concrete slab to determine whether there’s a crawl space of slab underneath. Follow Quexo, a Peruvian shaman, as he searches for cinnabar to complete a special ritual that will protect his village from winter storms. -- The year is 1400 BCE. At the temple of the fisherman, the morning is unusually still and this is just the latest in a series of troubling signs for Quexo, the village shaman. The villagers live off the sea, but this year the winds have died and the fish have dwindled. He’s seen this before— his only hope to fix it is a special ritual. We re back with another India video and this time we’ll be travelling to the India-Pakistan border to watch the border closing ceremony at the Attari-Wagah border before trying Pakistani food for the first time. This event is a must-do when you come to Amritsar! This ceremony marks the closing of the India-Pakistan border for the day and people travel from far and wide to witness the display of military showmanship dominated by stomping, high kicks, and exaggerated movements. Subscribe to David s Been Here: https://www.youtube.com/user/Davidsbeenhere Follow Japneet: https://www.instagram.com/iamjapneetmakkar/ To be honest, it reminded me of attending a live sporting event! It was high-energy and a lot of fun, with plenty of cheering, dancing, flag-waving and singing. Afterwards, we went to a local restaurant where we tried Pakistani food for the first time. We had chicken kebab, daal, mutton curry, and I was also challenged to eat a whole chilli. So join us for a fun evening of live entertainment at the border along with some delicious Pakistani food! Here is my Pakistan-India border closing ceremony experience from 2010: http://nomadicsamuel.com/travel-stories/india-pakistan-border-closing-ceremony-wagah-india INDIA-PAKISTAN Border Closing Ceremony at Attari-Wagah + Trying PAKISTANI FOOD For the First Time! The Indian-Pakistan border ceremony takes place daily at the Attari-Wagah border just before sunset. This military event is performed by India’s Border Security Force and the Pakistan Rangers, and it’s something that has been done since 1959. Technically, the whole purpose behind the ceremony is to lower the national flag and officially close the border for the night, however, what takes place is a lively display featuring marching, stomping, and plenty of high-kicks, while the crowd cheers, and breaks into song and dance. It’s energetic, it’s theatrical, and it’s an event you cannot miss whether you find yourself travelling in Amritsar or across the border in neighbouring Lahore! In terms of trying Pakistani food for the first time we had the following food items at Sarhad Restaurant (Border Restaurant) Restaurant: Chicken Seekh Kebab Dahi K Kebab Lahori Naan Peshawari Naan Mutton curry Chicken curry Dal Lahori Khalifa Khatai Now over to you? Have you tried Pakistani food before? Would going to the India-Pakistan Border Closing Ceremony be something you d like to experience? Who Created Allah? – Dr Zakir Naik MIWPQA-15 Questioner: Assalamu Alaikum! Sir. My name is Mohammad Firasat.. Ah.. I have a question for you.. ah it’s a non Muslim question. Actually he’s Nastik. He won’t believe any religion. So he asked me the question. Ah.. who created the God? God created us and who created God? So how should I answer him? Dr. Zakir: The brother has asked a question that a non Muslim atheist asked him a question who created God? The answer is that it is like my friend who’s name is John his brother Jack was admitted to the hospital, he tells me. Brother John tells me that my brother Jack was admitted to the hospital he gave birth to a child. Was the child a girl or a boy? Girl or a boy? Can you guess? Questioner: may be I don’t know. Dr. Zakir: you don’t know. Girl or a boy? How can a man give birth to a child? Jack is a brother of brother John… admitted to the hospital… gave birth to a child… girl or a boy? The question is illogical. A man cannot give birth to a child similarly the definition of true God, Allah, is He’s uncreated. So the question that who created God is illogical. The moment I say so and so person created God, he’s not God. Walam yakun lahu kufuwan ahad There’s nothing like him. So the definition of God is He’s uncreated. So the question who created God is illogical, the moment I say who created God that thing cannot be God. God by definition is uncreated. He creates everything else like us. We are dependent on Him. He’s independent on anything. How to convince an atheist is you can refer to my video cassette ‘Is the Qur’an God’s word?’ Which gives this answer as well as how to convince an atheist about Islam, Is the Qur’an God’s word? Will deal in detail How to convince an atheist. #Who #Created #Allah #Zakir #Naik #Zakirnaik #Drzakirnaik #Dr #Drzakirchannel #Allah #Allaah #God #Muslim #Islam #Islaam #Comparative #Religion #Comparativereligion #Atheism #Atheist #Christianity #Christian #Hinduism #Hindu #Buddhism #Buddhist #Judaism #Jew #Sikhism #Sikh #Jainism #Jain #Lecture #Question #Answer #QuestionsandAnswer #Logic #Reason #Science #Misconception #Misunderstanding #PeaceTV #Dawah #Muhammad #Mohammed #Hadeeth #Hadith #Saheeh #Sahih #Man #Woman #Human #Humanity #Problem #Solution #Rights #Media #War #Peace #Similarities #Debate #Lecture #Quran #Quraan #AlQuran #AlQuraan #Bible #Veda #Gita #Geeta #Baghwat #Upanishad #Purana #Terrorism #Terrorist #Universal #Brotherhood #Word #Purpose #Life #Jihad #Jihaad #Jesus #Christ #Jesuschrist #Church #Mosque #Masjid #Perspective #Ask #AskDrZakir #Seeking #Knowledge #Education #NonMuslim #Fundamentalist #Fundamentalism #Symposium #Dialogue #Salaah #Salah #Shariah #Scripture #Ahmed #Deedat #AhmedDeedat #Daee #Missionary #pewdiepie #asmr #music #markiplier #old town road #pewdiepie vs t series #billie eilish #fortnite #Concept #West #Family #Global #Ramadhaan #Ramadan #Tauheed #Tawheed #Monotheism #Zakaat #Zakat #Zakah #Hajj #Saum #Fasting #Makkah #Mecca #Madinah #India #Malaysia #Ummah #Unity #Importance #Date #Isamophobia #Understand #Deen #Fardh #Fard #Haraam #Haram #Sunnah #Mustahab #Waajib #Wajib #Compulsory #Prohibited #Encouraged #Permissible #Permitted #Prohibited #Sin #Sinful #Heaven #Hell #Hellfire #Jannah #Jahannum #Paradise

Kevin and Tommy pick up builder Jeff at the Idea House and drive to Jamestown. Jeff’s challenges were to make the house efficient but also make it fit in with the neighborhood. Donald meets them outside and shows them the exterior transformation. The coastal landscape already looks mature and is divided into many separate “rooms” for entertainment and projects. They see the new post and beam barn with a garage, workshop, guest suite, and the location of the new solar panels. Inside the house, Tommy goes upstairs to meet Dana who shows him the boys’ rooms, their bathroom, and the new master suite. Kevin helps Jeff put up a mirror in a bathroom. Tommy and Don comment how the white oak shiplap siding and flooring, bookcase and hand rails give the living room a clean simple look. Kevin meets Richard at the back of the barn where it’s command central for the net zero house. The solar panels will provide enough electricity for the house. The heat recovery units quietly pump into five zones so that the house can receive both warm and cool air where needed as well as provide hot water at any time. Kevin meets Dana in the mudroom where there’s plenty of storage. In the powder room, they check out the sink console that Don built with Tommy. The kitchen has seen the biggest transformation with beautiful cabinets, appliances, tile, ceiling and floors, and counters. The gang joins them and they declare the net zero house a success.
