What would happen if Vesuvius Volcano erupted today? It’s erupted many times in the past. In fact, that s how it got its shape. It s made of multiple layers of hardened lava, pumice, and ash. Vesuvius last erupted in 1944. But a major blast happened there nearly 2,000 years ago. It buried the Roman towns of Pompeii and Herculaneum and decimated the surrounding areas. The tragic eruption have left a deep mark in modern history. Mount Vesuvius is regarded as one of the deadliest volcanos in the human history. But today, 3 million people live less than 20 milesfrom the volcano, and 600,000 live in the danger zone. Large eruptions happen every few thousand years, usually after long periods of calm. And the trouble is, Vesuvius is long overdue for its next one... #brightside TIMESTAMPS: DAY 1 0:01 DAY 3 1:29 DAY 4 2:13 DAY 6 3:07 DAY 7 4:02 DAY 10 4:44 DAY 16 5:05 10 years later 8:19 100 years later 8:43 Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/brightside/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/brightgram/ 5-Minute Crafts Youtube: https://www.goo.gl/8JVmuC Stock materials (photos, footages and other): https://www.depositphotos.com https://www.shutterstock.com https://www.eastnews.ru ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.brightside.me/

Riddles are so much more than just games. Not only do they entertain us, but they also make us use our minds in a different way. Most people think using a standard thinking pattern, and this makes it difficult for them to see any other solution other than the obvious one. But some people think in a more creative way because they have developed lateral thinking skills. But the truth is that we all inherently have lateral thinking skills, we just don’t always put them to practice. However, once our minds get used to following new patterns, those tasks that demand our deductive skills will become easier over time. They may even help us become more creative. We offer you some riddles that will test your ability to think differently. #brightside TIMESTAMPS: Lost Inheritance 0:01 A Smart Investigator 1:21 A Realization 2:14 An Apple Riddle 2:57 A Weird Choice 3:38 A Draw 4:25 Time Travel 4:54 A Money Problem 5:41 Granted Wishes 6:19 Strange Reaction 7:06 How Did She Survive? 7:40 Beach Volleyball 8:35 A Teacher s Riddle 9:48 A Missing Model 10:31 In Disguise 11:39 A Train Mystery 12:45 Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/brightside/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/brightgram/ 5-Minute Crafts Youtube: https://www.goo.gl/8JVmuC Stock materials (photos, footages and other): https://www.depositphotos.com https://www.shutterstock.com https://www.eastnews.ru ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.brightside.me/

Then they run electric radiant wire to heat the seat. Our plumbing crew is installing new gas lines. Richard shows the plumbing apprentices the old-school way of cutting and connecting the steel pipes. Then he shows them how to use the latest clamping tool for a quick and safe connection. The newly opened up crawl space gets sprayed with insulation. On the first floor, Kevin finds Tommy teaching the apprentices how to install double hung replacement windows. Clad on the outside for no maintenance and primed on the inside for paint, these energy-efficient windows require a sponge balancing system to stay in place. On the exterior, the architect calls for the second-floor shingles to flare at the transition where they meet the clapboards. Tommy shows Kevin and homeowner Joe how he makes a jig to achieve the flare. About This Old House TV: This Old House is America s first and most trusted home improvement show. Well, to honor this incredible journey of bringing up a new life, we wanted to show you some of the best gadgets we found and other easy-to-follow DIYs. For starters, we’re testing the no-spill-bowl. This is ideal for toddlers who spill their food occasionally. Because of the way it turns, the main compartment always faces upwards. There’s also the clothing stamp. You can use it to mark your kids’ clothes. The best part is that you can change the letters and little illustrations that go with them. We all want to keep our houses pest-free, but the chemical pesticides in stores are way too toxic and harmful for using anywhere near your home, family, and pets. If these chemicals can kill insects, surely they cannot be good for us and it’s better to use something natural and safe when it’s possible. So if you wanna know how to get rid of ants found around the house using natural ways, this video is right what you need. Did you know, for example, that coffee grains contain diterpenes which are highly toxic for ants? Leave a couple of grains or some ground coffee wherever ants might have access to. Peppermint is known to repel insects naturally. Not only it repels ants, it also keeps fleas, caterpillars, spiders, and even lice away! You can also make a DIY anti-pest spray. You can be sure about the ingredients this spray’s gonna contain and there’s no way you’re gonna be allergic to it - you control all the ingredients! So, here are ways that are just as effective as using chemicals but not as harmful to you and your family. #brightside TIMESTAMPS: Coffee 0:02 Peppermint 1:27 DIY anti-pest spray 2:18 Cayenne pepper 2:59 Cinnamon 3:32 Tea tree oil 5:25 Cornstarch 6:13 Preventative measures 7:47 Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ Subscribe to Bright Side : https://goo.gl/rQTJZz ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/brightside/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/brightgram/ 5-Minute Crafts Youtube: https://www.goo.gl/8JVmuC Stock materials (photos, footages and other): https://www.depositphotos.com https://www.shutterstock.com https://www.eastnews.ru ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.brightside.me/
