How to take food and snacks anywhere without anyone catching you You know the feeling - when you want to walk into the cinema or any other entertainment establishment, and you discover that you aren’t allowed to take your own snacks with you. That can be very annoying, but we won’t let you get hungry. This video shows you some genius tips and tricks to help you sneak food everywhere without getting caught. Take a blanket, place your snacks on it, add a baby doll head on top, roll the blanket over everything – except the doll head and voila. You can pretend that the snacks are your baby. You can also place your snacks inside your face mask. Stick them with some confectionery gel and enjoy your M&Ms without anyone noticing. You can also hide your little cookies inside your clothes. You’ll only need some rubber bands to keep them in place. Watch the video to see how to do it. There s an invisible force shaping our lives, affecting the weather, climate, land, economy, and just whether a flag looks majestic or not - we re talking about the wind! Today we’re going to go into the science of where the wind comes from and take a closer look at the major wind systems and pressure belts across the globe. We ll explain how the Coriolis effect causes the winds to curve (and makes air travel a bit more complicated), explore the doldrums and horse latitudes that could stall ships for days, and show the enormous impact the trade winds had on European colonization of the Americas. In this video, Richard Trethewey teaches the process of installing a garbage disposal where there was not one originally. SUBSCRIBE to This Old House: http://bit.ly/SubscribeThisOldHouse. What Is a Garbage Disposal For? Garbage disposals are helpful to have because there’s less risk of plumbing drain damage from food going down the pipes, less trash being generated from food waste, and there is reduced kitchen odor from rotting food. Steps for Installing a Garbage Disposal People might want to try to install one themselves, so it’s important to understand the basics involved with the installation, particularly the parts and pieces that are needed. It’s very easy to get confused in the plumbing aisle, so Richard breaks down the various PVC piping and fittings that can be found. These are the steps for how to install a garbage disposal. Time: 3 hours Cost: $100—$400 Skill Level: Moderate Tools: Wrenches [https://amzn.to/3qAoKQs] Screwdriver [https://amzn.to/3safDXb] Saw [https://amzn.to/3k3kV3M] Shopping List: Garbage disposal [https://amzn.to/3py4QnY] PVC piping [https://amzn.to/3k5uS0T] Fittings [https://amzn.to/3awtPno] Plumber’s putty [https://amzn.to/37sNDWE] Cleaner [https://amzn.to/3qwcxfH] Glue [https://amzn.to/3dxlMIO] Steps: 1. Disconnect the P-trap from the drain tail pipe with a wrench. 2. Cut the P-trap near where it exits the cabinet, which is most likely from the side or the back of the cabinet, with a mini hacksaw. Keep a bucket underneath the P-trap for any waste or sludge that might have built up in the pipes. 3. Disconnect the sink stopper and the tail pipe from the sink, which can be done from underneath with a wrench. 4. Clean the old putty on the top of the sink. 5. Apply plumber’s putty to the bottom of the new sink flange and place it in the drain hole. 6. From underneath, secure the sink flange to the counter. Older models will use three screws that can be tightened with a screwdriver, and many models now use a plastic, hand-tightened ring. 7. If the dishwasher hose needs to drain into the garbage disposal, most models come with a knockout hole that you can punch through to run the hose. 8. Attach the disposal to the mounting ring that’s attached to the sink flange. It usually can twist right on and be hand tightened. 9. Next, connect the P-trap. The hole for the drain line is usually on the side of the disposal, so new drain pipes will need to be run and connected. 10. Seal all the connections for the new P-trap, depending on what type of piping is chosen. 11. Open the faucet and check for any leaks. 12. Plug the disposer into the outlet or call an electrician to wire the disposal to power. Where to find it? Richard installed a Badger 100 ⅓ Continuous Feed Garbage Disposal [https://amzn.to/3py4QnY], which is manufactured by InSinkErator (https://insinkerator.emerson.com/en-us ). The other tools and materials he used to install the disposal, including the plumber’s putty, array of PVC piping, fittings, cleaner, and glue, and wrenches can all be found at home centers and plumbing supply houses. We started “travel hacking” & finally decided we wanted to go travel for one year. After 2 years of saving $ and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016. We started this #travelvlog to share our experiences with friends and family, then decided we really liked vlogging and traveling, and we didn’t want to stop after just one year! After achieving our new goal of 100 countries and then all 7 continents (check out our documentary here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FuFv4iF8wgg&t=1s), we had no plans to slow down, until 2020 decided to force us to ;) which is when we bought a converted Sprinter van to start exploring our own country for the first time. It was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎

This video covers the General theory of Relativity, developed by Albert Einstein, from basic simple levels (it s gravity, curved space) through to the concepts of how curved spacetime is represented by psuedo-Riemannian manifolds with Lorentzian signature (that is, special relativity and minkowski space are the local tangent space), how matter and energy are represented by an energy-momentum tensor, and how these two together obey the Einstein Field Equations. The solutions to the Einstein Field Equations (including the schwarzschild metric, kerr metric, freedman-lemaitre-robertson-walker metric, etc) represent gravity around massive objects like the sun, earth, and black holes, but also the history and expansion and future evolution of the cosmos. The universe on a large scale is described by general relativity - on a small scale, quantum mechanics. And where they meet... there s still work to be done. Why do we fill pauses in speech with words like “um,” “uh,” and “like”? Dig into the hesitation phenomenon to find out their linguistic significance. -- For as long as we’ve had language, some people have tried to control it. And some of the most frequent targets of this communication regulation are the ums, ers, and likes that pepper our conversations. These linguistic fillers occur roughly 2 to 3 times per minute in natural speech. So are ums and uhs just a habit we can’t break? Or is there more to them? Lorenzo García-Amaya investigates.
