Woodworking with LEGO! I have used Lego bricks as design and prototyping tools for a long time but typically I use them for casting concrete or mold making. I made router template using LEGO so that I could cut into this walnut slab so that it can fit onto the concrete castles I made for a previous project. This alloy is made from Tin and Bismuth, contains no lead and melts at around 280 degrees Fahrenheit. I poured this molten metal directly into wood to fill in knotholes and to cover up screws and pocket holes. I have used this alloy for years and it s really easy to melt in a typical pan and hot plate.
