If your layover lands you in Cancun, Mexico, get ready for an adventure in paradise. Instead of staying in the airport, gazing out the window at palm trees, hop in a cab and take on the coastal oasis. We just hope you packed your swimsuit! Trying to decide where to go in Cancun when you have limited time to explore? You can’t go wrong with the sand and sea. Playa Caracol is a hot spot for parasailers, while Playa Delfines is the place to marvel at dolphins frolicking off the coast. Jump off the dock into the turquoise waters at Playa Langosta, or snorkel around Playa Tortugas. For more outdoor adventures, make the trek over to Chichen Itza and check out the ancient Mayan ruins, or cruise off the coast for a different view of the peninsula. Meanwhile, if you’re in town later in the evening, Cancun’s Hotel Zone boasts a popping nightlife scene with live music, DJs, and endless dancing. If you’re wondering what to see in Cancun, we have all the answers. This seaside city is overflowing with tropical landscapes, history lessons, watersports, and more. From beach volleyball to nightclubs, you’ll find plenty do during just one day in Cancun. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow us on social media: TWITTER: twitter.com/expedia FACEBOOK: facebook.com/expedia INSTAGRAM: instagram.com/expedia GOOGLE+: plus.google.com/+expedia -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow us on our travel blog, Viewfinder: Viewfinder.expedia.com

If you have an extended layover in Buenos Aires, Argentina, let the adventures begin as soon as your flight touches the ground. Don’t even think about wasting a single second in the terminal; instead, explore the capital city before your next flight. The clock is ticking, so get ready for a whirlwind 24 hours in Buenos Aires. Buenos Aires is home to 48 districts, or barrios, but don’t feel pressured to visit them all in so little time. Consider starting your exploration at the Microcentro or downtown. This area is home to many of the city’s most popular attractions, including Plaza de Mayo, which features the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Cathedral and Piramide de Mayo. While you’re in town, keep your eyes peeled for the Obelisco de Buenos Aires, which resembles the Washington Monument, as well as the Floralis Generica, a steel flower sculpture. Regardless of which barrios you have the chance to delve into, this city is bursting with culture and sophisticated style. Between devouring some of the city’s famous steak and braving the Recoleta Cemetery, there’s countless ways to experience one day in Buenos Aires. During your next layover, skip the terminal lounge and hit the city streets instead. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow us on social media: TWITTER: twitter.com/expedia FACEBOOK: facebook.com/expedia INSTAGRAM: instagram.com/expedia GOOGLE+: plus.google.com/+expedia -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow us on our travel blog, Viewfinder: Viewfinder.expedia.com
