Everyone knows there’s no shortage of food on a cruise. That’s especially true when sailing with Disney Cruise Line. But don’t worry, it’s not all pizza, hot dog and kiddie fare! Guests can enjoy upscale menu items crafted by Michelin star-rated chefs or wine pairings selected by master sommeliers. Out of all the options, here are some of our favorite dining experiences with Disney Cruise Line. Plan your cruise: http://bit.ly/1T5ovZ5 Specialty dining at Remy and Palo Petites assiettes means “small plates,” and this gem is an experience offered at Remy, a French-inspired fine dining restaurant exclusively for adults. There are six dishes in all, each perfectly paired with wine. The Disney ships are also home to Palo, which is widely regarded as a favorite dining spot. This adult-only venue offers Italian cooking for brunch and dinner. The fan favorite here is the chocolate soufflé, but I think the views are equally scrumptious! Rotating dining rooms With Disney Cruise Line you don’t simply dine in the same dining room every evening – you visit one of three uniquely themed family dining spaces each night. You might dine in an enhanted garden that transforms from day to night while you dine or enjoy South American flair at Cariocas. And then there’s our favorite, Animator’s Palate, where Disney characters come to life before your eyes. On the Disney magic and Disney fantasy you can even see your hand-drawn characters become part of the show! Casual dining options Or you can simply go casual by grabbing food up on deck. There are healthy wraps and fruit. Also, indulge with complementary soft serve ice cream, soda and coffee. And, yes, there’s pizza, chicken and burgers. But also more exotic items like Shawarma – complete with grilled meats and lots of toppings. Cabanas buffet We’re going to let you in on the best kept Disney Cruise dining secret. Imagine you’ve spent an action-packed day exploring Rome, snorkeling in the Caribbean, or simply wore yourself out riding the Aquaduck water coaster, and you’re looking for a laid back, full service dining experience. Then why not skip the dining room and instead opt for dinner under the stars up on deck? Cabanas offers a free-flowing buffet experience by day, but come nighttime it features signature dishes from the main dining restaurants in a subdued, and sublime, setting. 24-hour room service Not even feeling up to leaving your room to dine at all? No worries, 24-hour in-room dining onboard is also complimentary, meaning that you don’t even need to put on pants to enjoy fresh salmon, salads, paninis, soup and more. It’s the perfect option for late-night snacking, a casual dinner to enjoy with Disney movies in your room, or a daytime meal to savor with breathtaking verandah views. Whether savoring upscale dining, snacking on classic American fare or indulging in treats, your tastebuds are sure to cry out for more. While on your way to your next Disney Cruise dining adventure, work up an appetite by taking the stairs! Want to learn more about Disney Cruise Line? Next time you’re ready to walk through nature, pay a visit to Jeju-do Island. This small enclave, located about 55 miles off the coast of South Korea, is remembered in history as “The Island of the Gods.” You’ll see why it has this nickname when you embark on a Jeju-do Island tour, and wander through its many natural wonders. Spend some time at the exquisite Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, or walk through the miles of paths that run along the coastline for a breath of fresh oceanic air. You can also spend hours in the Bijarim Forest, surrounded by ancient trees that reach over 80 feet into the sky. Jeju-do Island sightseeing isn’t just about the flora and fauna, though. You can let your imagination run wild at the Trick Art Museum, or remember simpler days in childhood at the Teddy Bear Museum. If you’re ready to enjoy a skin-crawling good time, pay a visit to the Psyche Butterfly Multipark to see insects in action. What was your favorite part of Jeju-do Island? Happy first wedding anniversary and 11 years of being together to my best friend, travel buddy and love my of my life Siya Zarrabi. You and I have grown up together, gone through many transitions and although there have been some really tough times, we always work through it and come out even stronger. True love isn t just about the butterfly feelings or feeling head over heals all the time for that special person. It s about falling out of love and then falling right back into it even harder because you know deep down in your soul that it s worth it...this is what life is about. Last year, Siya and I got to celebrate our love and friendship with all of the people that we love most in this world. Friends and family came from all over the world to celebrate with us. But it wasn t just mine and Siya s celebration of love for each other but it was a celebration of love all around and everyone felt it. It was the most special and enchanted day of my entire life. Siya, I love you so so much and I am so lucky that I ve already gotten to spend 11 years with you. To many more to come! Siya put together this video for me last night to the song that played while we walked down the aisle with additional footage from the wedding. These two derelict old railway carriages have been converted into an absolutely stunning off the grid home. Packed full of character and history from their time on the railway, these carriages are now a wonderful place to call home. Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/livingbig Located in the Central Otago region in the South Island of New Zealand, this conversion project has been a true labour of love. The restoration and renovation took 8 years to get the home to it s current state working part time. https://www.livingbiginatinyhouse.com/railway-carriage-home-conversion/ Being located on such a remote property, the home is unable to connect to services and so is completely off the grid, capturing it s own rain water and generating it s power from a small solar system. In this weeks episode, we venture to the beautiful sub-tropical Northern Rivers region of New South Wales to visit a spectacular off-the-grid tiny house on wheels, situated amongst stunning syntropic, regenerative, food forest gardens. For anyone who has dreamed of going off-the-grid and escaping to paradise to grow food and live simply, this is a video tour you will want to check out! This amazing tiny house is situated amongst wonderful syntropic gardens. Similar in many ways to permaculture syntropic farming is a form of dynamic regenerative agricultural forestry which uses a systems thinking approach to create an abundant, healthy, natural food forest. Focus is placed on formation of healthy soil biology and establishing microclimates so that food production and agriculture is synchronised with regeneration of the land. Super cool stuff! Equally as impressive as the gardens is the amazing off-the-grid tiny house on wheels. The home is solar powered with abundant rain water collection. A composting toilet helps to reduce the homes water consumption. Beautifully designed, there is abundant outdoor living space so that Anthony and Kirra can enjoy year round indoor / outdoor living. I hope you enjoy the full video tour of this incredible tiny home! To find out more about Anthony and Kirra s tiny house and regenerative agriculture adventures, be sure to follow them on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/little_house_in_the_woods_/ You. can also find out more about Anthony s work in plastic waste reduction via his website: https://www.plasticpollutionsolutions.com.au/ Anthony and Kirra are currently raising funds to build an Educational Centre for Regeneration & Resilience.
