The black taxi political tours are a great way to learn about Northern Ireland s turbulent history Where the catholic and protestant conflict ended just 20 years ago. The main Protestant neighbourhood is Shankhill Road and Falls Road And these are the areas we ll visit here today. But you ll find that a lot of our working class areas are still quite segregated. Many of the drivers actually lived through the turmoil of the 80s And have many personal stories to share The tour begins in the Protestant neighbourhood of Shankill Road Here we had the chance to walk through the community viewing the painted murals Portraying pivotal moments in history. The murals commemorate those who fought and died in the conflict I m sure you ve heard of all the troubles here Ireland. Guys see the Freedom 2000. That s in reference to a prison. When the conflict was on here we had two types of prisoners. We had what were known as political prisoners and then we had what was known as ODC That stood for ordinary decent criminal. The second half of our tour took us to the Falls Road Clonard Martyrs Memorial Gardens It s surprising to see just how close these two communities are. They are side by side divided only by the long concrete wall known as the Peace Wall. The memorial pays respect to the IRA volunteers who fought and lost their lives during the troubles. The IRA carried the title of Volunteer. The troubles of Belfast are now in the past but the Working class communities are still segregated The Wall still stand and even today there is a curfew at Falls Road where the barriers close daily at 10pm If you are looking for a different city tour, We highly recommend the Black Taxi tour of Belfast.

No it isn’t technically a “weather bomb.” It is the biggest recorded change in wind speed that I have personally encountered though and I was caught with the main fully up. The old boat wouldn’t actually record the numbers and I was always frantically running around pulling ropes so I never could actually tell. This particular one came out of no where and was fierce. You will see what I was doing at the time in a phone-call home to Elayna in not tomorrows episode but the one after if we do indeed upload one every day live I’ve been saying we would. I would argue that it isn’t strictly clickbait, that is more like showing a womans bottom and making a video mostly about changing a car tyre. This is more like when you catch a fish and tell people it was bigger than it was. And so but I am mindful of all the old sailors out there whos bad weather experiences on the water would be diminished by some punk running around with misleading titles on his youtube channel and so this description will serve as both an apology to any people affected and will also be for “the record” whomever is keeping that. My number one pick for the best thing to do in Iguazu Falls is the Macuco Jet Boat safari it s amazing it takes you right into the centre of the falls you get under the water and what a thrill One of the things I highly recommend you do is head out to the Itaipu Dam It is the second largest dam in the world and let me tell you you really feel the force of the water while you re there While you re out there do a sunset tour of the Itaipu Lake it s a great way to go out and watch the sunset and have a little cocktail while you re at it When you come to Iguazu make sure you take the catamaran tour that sunset is beautiful And don t forget to visit Parque das Aves the famous bird park lot s of great birds there to see, some of them you can t even see in the wild Half of the birds here are rescues and half are actually bred here An Amazing place to come if you re in Iguazu Come to Marco das Americas to see where Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil all meet And if you re looking for a place to stay I highly recommend the Belmond das Cataratas it s the only hotel that s right inside Iguazu National Park And it gives you access to see those waterfalls and sunrise and sunset where you have them all to yourself And when you re inside the park you ve got to go down to the catwalk and walk right out into the falls it s really cool to be surrounded by waterfalls Make sure you go and visit a bit of the downtown there are a lot of things to see there s different museums One thing that stood out to us is visiting the traditional mosque And you go to a Chinese temple and walk around the peaceful gardens If you want to see the falls from a birds eye point of view A helicopter tour is always recommended This wasn t the best helicopter tour we ve ever taken but it was a great way to see the falls for a very short time up in the air If you want to get into the heart of the jungle go to the Bananeiras Trail this is really cool you can do a ten kilometre bike ride into the jungle then a hike then some kayaking and even a speedboat tour It s a full day of adventure So those are our favourite things to do in Iguazu Falls in Brazil if you like what you saw today make sure you subscribe to our channel
