A&Z #1107 - Professional eater Randy Santel versus The Grange s "Fat Matt" Scottish Burger Challenge hosted by The Grange Restaurant and Steakhouse located in North Berwick, East Lothian, Scotland of the United Kingdom!! After finishing up our 2-week Northern Ireland Tour, @KatinaEatsKilos and I spent 3 weeks exploring most of the major cities and areas around Scotland. During our travels, I attempted 12 Scottish man vs food restaurant challenges. For eating challenge event #10, we headed 1 hour east from Edinburgh to The Grange in North Berwick, East Lothian, Scotland so I could attempt their massive and delicious "Fat Matt" Scottish Burger Challenge which has been attempted and failed by more than 1,500 people in the past 8+ years that the hamburger challenge has been available. I had just 45 minutes to finish but really I was trying to beat the 19 minute time record set a few years ago by a proud Scotsman. The challenge includes a triple patty beef & chicken burger loaded with 4 haggis, 4 black pudding, 4 different cheeses, 10 strips of streaky American-style bacon, healthy vegetables, a homemade bacon jam, and more, served with Scottish coleslaw, 2 pickles, 6 fried onion rings, some loaded chili cheese chips/fries, and more. The beer in this video was optional and not required. I was trying to become only the 9th person to win my £25 burger meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on The Grange s Wall of Fame.
