A&Z #822 - Atlas vs WW Cousins 5-Patty "Maximum Capacity" Burger Challenge at WW Cousins in Louisville, Kentucky. Hey everybody!! Back in mid-December 2019, as part of my "4th Quarter 2019" Food Challenge Tour, I traveled from the Cleveland, Ohio area to Louisville, Kentucky while en route up to Eau Claire, Wisconsin and the Minneapolis, Minnesota area. I went to employee-owned WW Cousins to help debut their new 5-patty "Maximum Capacity" Burger Challenge which features five half-pound beef burger patties, each with a different set of cheese and toppings. The burger was topped with onion rings and served with an order of chili cheese fries and lots of desserts - a cookie, slice of pie, and milkshake from the options on their menu. I got a sugar cookie they made special for me, pecan pie, and a chocolate milkshake. I was trying to win my $50 meal free, a sweet t-shirt, and they were also going to throw in a cool WW Cousins visor too!! Their Maximum Capacity Burger Challenge features five half-pound beef patties stacked and layered with different cheeses and toppings on each burger. There is a chili cheeseburger, a mushroom & Swiss burger, and one in the middle even has spicy jalapenos. With onion rings layered on top, the whole burger weighs around 4.7lbs. Challengers must also finish a big side of chili cheese fries and then for dessert, there is a cookie required along with a slice of pie and a milkshake. There are multiple options to choose between for all 3 items. WW Cousins makes the desserts in-house from scratch, so enjoy and have fun taking this challenge which boasts a 45 minute time limit. Winners receive the $50 meal free and a sweet t-shirt. The challenge is not always available, and is only on special event basis.
