For event #1, I traveled to Cleburne, Texas where I attempted the All American Burger Challenge hosted by 1949 Burger Bar and Loaf N Dog, both under the same ownership. The Burger Bar provided a quadruple-patty "Atlas Burger" plus a side of hand-cut fries. Loaf N Dog provided a footlong Nakia Dog plus chili cheese fries and a giant strawberry milkshake. I was trying to get win #830 by finishing everything within the 25 minute time limit. They are both within walking distance of each other. - Made by 1949 Burger Bar, there is a 4-patty "Atlas" Burger layered with cheese, bacon, jalapenos, and other healthy vegetables. There is also a side of hand-cut fries. - From Loaf N Dog, there is a footlong Nakia Dog which is one of their specialty items, served alongside some chili cheese fries and a giant 32oz milkshake (chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry). - There is a 25 minute time limit to finish everything, and this is available at Loaf N Dog. - The challenge costs $35 to attempt. It’s a little outside of the city, but well worth the drive if you love to eat - especially river fish food. I loved the look of the restaurant as soon as we arrived, very peaceful and quiet overlooking the river, surrounded by lush greenery and mountains.
