It’s a huge Thai family restaurant, and you can choose to sit outside in the yard, under the seafood area, or in the gymnasium sized meat area. You have 2 options, the seafood buffet costs 339 THB (which is $10.88) for all you can eat crab, shellfish, fish, squid, shrimp, horseshoe crab salad and many more. And the 199 THB option (หมูกระทะ) which is lots of pork, meat, hot dogs, all the vegetables, some Thai food dishes, desserts, and more. If you choose the seafood option, you get both the seafood buffet section and the meat buffet section. The best thing about this street food buffet is that you get to cook everything in front of you on your table - grilling and boiling seafood right in front of your face while you’re eating it. It’s a similar experience to buffets across Thailand, but Hat Yai has truly perfected the art of the all you can eat Thai seafood buffet. After finishing up my food challenges in Oklahoma and Arkansas, I traveled east to Tennessee where I attempted lots of delicious food challenges as part of my 2020 Southeast USA Tour. For event #15, I traveled northwest to Tompkinsville, Kentucky and attempted the super fast and delicious Mike s Southern Kentucky Breakfast Challenge at The Eatin Table which consisted of 2 Eatin Table sized buttermilk pancakes, 5 eggs, 5 pieces of bacon, a few pieces of buttered toast, and a large order of hash browns. I was trying to beat the previous 17 minute time record, but I had 1 hour to finish and win my $15 meal free plus a sweet hat and spot on their Wall of Fame.
