Today, with just a few weeks to go until restaurants reopen, I decided to recreate another world famous food challenge right here in my kitchen. In this episode, I m knocking together my version of The Pigzilla Challenge from Papa Buck s BBQ, GA. This giant pulled pork sandwich was featured on the TV show Man V Food and consists of mounds of pulled pork, doused in bbq sauce and coleslaw, sandwiched in a huge bun. Today we’re going on a Thai street food tour! #StreetFood #ThaiFood #Thailand Morning market - To begin this tour of Mae Sariang (แม่สะเรียง), we’re first going to the daily morning market, where you’ll find an abundance of locally sourced ingredients. You’ll even find quite a lot of ingredients that are unique and unavailable elsewhere in Thailand. The market was nice to walk around, although there wasn’t much premade food to eat, so we continued! Pa Daeng Khao Soi (ร้านข้าวซอยป้าแดง https://goo.gl/maps/oW6CewbE9bRxRnVY9) - Mae Sariang (แม่สะเรียง) is a hotspot for some of the best khao soi, or curry noodles, that I’ve ever had in Thailand. The richness of the curry paired with the yellow noodles is irresistible. Pa Daeng Khao Soi (ร้านข้าวซอยป้าแดง) is a small home restaurant in the neighborhood. The khao soi was excellent. Price - 40 THB ($1.33) per bowl Mae Luang Penh (แม่หลวงเพ็ญ https://goo.gl/maps/cky78wBw2hVQewQP7) - One of the true highlights of visiting Mae Sariang (แม่สะเรียง), and a restaurant that’s worth a pilgrimage from anywhere in Thailand, is this iconic restaurant that serves hammer pounded beef and pork. It’s a delicacy, and the more you keep on eating it, the more you love it more and more - greatest ever snack food? The meat is marinated, and then it literally slow grills until it’s dried out and withered, and then it’s pounded. The result is approaching beef jerky, but with still a bit of moisture. The rest of the meats are also incredible, and there are few things greater than a car sized grill of smoky meats! Total price - 300 THB ($9.98) Khao Soi Halima (ร้านข้าวซอยฮาลีมา https://goo.gl/maps/NR3ob71jBpfKpKSi8) - Finally, to end this Thai street food tour, we’re eating another bowl of Khao Soi, curry noodles. Khao Soi Halima (ร้านข้าวซอยฮาลีมา) is a Halal restaurant, and I’m going to tell you straight up that this is the best bowl of Thai curry noodles maybe I’ve ever had. It’s unbelievably rich and thick, with so much flavor it’s almost unbearable. Price - 40 THB ($1.33) per bowl And that completes an amazing Thai street food tour in Mae Sariang (แม่สะเรียง). This town is so off the beaten path, this was such an unexpected Thai food, almost secret, food paradise. Hi semua, dah lama rasanya Che Nom tak buat kuih…kali ni jom lah tengok Che Nom buat pau kacang merah. Pau inti kacang merah ni sangatlah lembut dan gebu….ditambah pula dengan inti kacang merah buatan sendiri, memang bertambah-tambah special. Ada 3 bahagian video, mula-mula Che Nom tunjuk cara penyediaan pes kacang merah. Kedua..Cara untuk buat doh pau yang lembut dan gebu..menggunakan tepung pau.
