The boulder crew set up two highlines the "Could have been worse highline" 105ft. long, probably close to 70ft of the ground as well as the "Out of the Bast Cave Highline" 50ft long, and probably close to 100ft off the ground. The exposure and the wind were the hardest elements to deal with. Alright, here is my first attempt at a Day In The Life type of video. I ve never made one of these before so I m sorry if it sucks. I wasn t really sure what I was doing so here is just a bunch of random stuff put together, basically. I brought an extra battery but they both ended up draining pretty fast so I had to only film a little here and there if I wanted to be able to film the Street League final, which is why the ending is a little skimpy. How To Balance Manuals Here are a few tips that I ve found useful over the years while trying to improve my manual game. Like I say in the video, I think I am much better at nose manuals but these tips should apply to either one. I think I will be making a follow up video talking about how to ollie into and out of manuals sometime soon as well. Manuals are an interesting thing because it s less about technical skill and more about innate balance. But, while balance is something you have to develop for yourself, there are still techniques you can use to help you learn to balance better on a board.
