Here s the last WCT 4 quarter-final - Blacklist v Samurai. It was a pretty dominant performance by Blacklist who recently won the European Championships. Sebastien Foucan, who was coaching the team for the Euros, was the opening Evader for this match and started off with two back-to-back Evasions. Samurai also had three new athletes - Taishi, Kan and Hiroto. Kan was in one of the first Parkour athletes we met up with in Japan (https://youtu.be/B1phCZJq9so - feels like a long time ago now!). Even though he was only in one chase (2:10) against a really strong athlete, 21 year-old Hiroto showed a lot of promise as an exciting new athlete so can t wait to see him competing again soon. Sea to Sky 2019 Hard Enduro Mountain Race started at 09:00AM from Camyuva beach. The track was a combination of Beach-Canyon-Forest and Rocky mountain sectors for 53 kilometers. After a hard ride towards the Mount Olympus the order to reach CP9 was Mario Roman, Wade Young and Graham Jarvis. After CP9 Mario got lost the track which caused him loosing his position to Wade but then he recovered that time and caught him. Sherco teammates fought hard through the finish line and at a technical climb Wade got stuck and Mario recovered his position back and kept it till the finish lane. After getting two consecutive P2’s at the Sea to Sky (2017&2018) Mario finally made it and won the race with only 5 seconds clear from his teammate. Unlike the trios podium fight in 2017 Graham wasn’t close to the Shercos.
