Buy AumSum Merchandise: http://bit.ly/3srNDiG Website: https://www.aumsum.com The earth spins at a speed of 1000 miles per hour. Its atmosphere also moves along with it at a constant speed. If the earth stops spinning suddenly, the atmosphere would still be in motion, sending everything on the earth’s surface, flying into the atmosphere. Now, earth’s spinning generates a centrifugal force which is responsible for the huge bulge of water around the equator. No spinning means no centrifugal force. This water would migrate towards the poles, where gravity is the strongest, leaving behind a giant landmass. Also, remember that, even though the earth stops spinning, it is still revolving around the sun. This means, we would experience a 6 month day, followed by 6 month night. Some experts also believe that earth’s rotation generates its magnetic field. Without rotation, there would be no magnetic field to protect us from the harmful solar winds, making it extremely difficult to survive.

Buy AumSum Merchandise: http://bit.ly/3srNDiG Website: https://www.aumsum.com Nightmares are disturbing dreams that generate feelings of fear and anxiety, abruptly awakening us. On waking, we feel our heart pounding and can usually recollect the nightmare. Nightmares usually occur during the REM stage of sleep. Even though they are more common in children, many adults also experience them. There could be multiple reasons behind nightmares. Having late-night snacks increases our metabolism, triggering more brainwaves and causing nightmares. Certain medications like blood pressure medications, antidepressants, etc. can also cause nightmares. Also, if we are sleep deprived or have certain sleep disorders, this can also lead to nightmares. Stress and anxiety can also lead to adult nightmares. People who have experienced a huge trauma or are suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder can also suffer from nightmares. Thus, eating healthy, sleeping on a schedule and staying stress-free can help us stay away from nightmares.

Remember Sol, the closest star to Earth? We like to call it The Sun and we haven t talked about it in a little while. One interesting thing about the energy we get from the sun is that it s not absorbed the same way by different materials. In fact, even at the beach, you can do a nice little investigation that shows this very well. Buy AumSum Merchandise: http://bit.ly/3srNDiG Website: https://www.aumsum.com If you stay awake for around 24 hours, you won t really feel tired or exhausted. Instead, you feel energetic, positive and happy!! Do you know why? Because the brain secretes extra dopamine, the happy hormone to compensate for lack of sleep. But, this doesn’t last long. After 48 hours of staying awake, body starts shutting down. You feel exhausted as the body cannot metabolize glucose properly, lowering energy supply. Immune system weakens, you start looking pale and make impulsive decisions. Continuing to stay awake, can lead to hallucinations, making it difficult to understand what is real. In a study, a student called Randy Garner went without sleep for 11 days. Though, he is fine now, this isn’t recommended as studies show that 14 days without sleep can lead to death.

So... what makes the wind? You might be surprised to learn that it has to do with two of Earth s spheres: the hydrosphere and the geosphere. Buy AumSum Merchandise: http://bit.ly/3srNDiG Website: https://www.aumsum.com In stressful or displeasing situations, when a part of the brain called amygdala receives unpleasant information from our senses, it generates a response of fear or danger and sends it to hypothalamus. Now, hypothalamus has 2 options, either to activate the sympathetic nervous system which regulates the fight or flight response, or activate the parasympathetic nervous system which is responsible for restfulness and digestion. Now, as the response was of danger, fight or flight system gets activated which in turn signals the release of adrenaline. Adrenaline increases breathing rate, elevates our blood pressure and most importantly, it makes our heart beat faster than normal. This allows more oxygen and glucose to reach our cells through blood, giving us a burst of energy and thus, making us capable to fight or flight.

Buy AumSum Merchandise: http://bit.ly/3srNDiG Website: https://www.aumsum.com Dreams are a collection of images, events or sensations which we see or feel in our daily lives. Now, whether a blind person can see in his dreams or not, depends on when he lost his vision. If he lost his vision in the later stage of his life, then his brain would use visual information stored in his memories to create dreams. But the same wouldn’t happen if an individual is blind since birth. This is because his brain has never received any visual information. So instead, his dreams would get their content from memories of sound, smell, touch, etc., which he perceives in his everyday life. However, another science experiment showed results contrary to this. In that experiment, people who were blind since birth were able to draw their dreams, thus proving that they not only sense or feel, but also see in their dreams.

Buy AumSum Merchandise: http://bit.ly/3srNDiG Website: https://www.aumsum.com Earth is spherical in shape because of gravity. Earth s gravity pulls everything equally towards its center and thus gives it a spherical shape Now, if the earth was cube-shaped, then the following things might have happened. Firstly, it would look weird. Secondly, just like gravity, our weight would be different at different places on earth. This is because the 8 corners of the cube would be much further away from the cube s center as compared to the rest of the cube. But this would be good news for people who are over-weight and lazy. Now they can just go to the corners and voila, their weight gets reduced. Thirdly, due to low gravitational force, the cube corners would have very less atmospheric cover & almost no water, thus rendering them inhospitable.
