When I inspect any car I look for paint issues that indicate paint failure or evidence of a previous repaint. Joe Izzo Jr. had a car come into his shop to repair after a botched paint job that was the perfect example of many of the paint issues we see....but in this case it was on 1 car. I LOVE detailing really dirty cars because its fun to show the client a before and after once the car is completed. In this episode, I use a VX5000 to clean and disinfect small areas in hopes of finding/killing the horrible smell that was present. Because this car was exceptionally dirty, I did a few steps that I "normally" wouldn t have done or at least I would have done them in a different order. (ie...vacuuming twice) Watch and see what I find between the seats that s causing the horrible smell. Yikes... This is a review of the steps in the AMMO Paint Regimen. To properly apply the AMMO Paint Regimen you need to understand that it s four components work together. The Paint Regimen is designed to maintain your vehicles paint by adding layers of protection. Begin by washing the car with AMMO Foam. Dry the vehicle using AMMO Hydrate with a damp microfiber towel. Once the vehicle is dry, apply AMMO Skin to seal the paint in a thick synthetic protection. AMMO Spit is used to remove light dust and dirt without the need for water.
