Teaching Amelia to be gentle with the dogs so that when she’s crawling she won’t be pulling Niko’s tail. Phil is safe in that department 😂

To see Phil watch first 4 mins and then again at 7.50 To see Niko skip to 4:10 To see Milo 6.10 Surprisingly Phil was the most interested initially with him pining throughout last night...
Phil feeling sorry for himself when he has to have his medicine
Nearly 2 weeks old and Amelia is showing an inquisitive nature toward her furry friends for the few hours she’s awake 😁 In a few months she’ll be able to interact with them fully but...
This has been years coming! Since Phil has been sick we have gone to many vets for many tests, specialists outside of insurance and been given multiple different diagnosis ultimately to say cosmetic and he s old etc. For 4 years we solidly sought resolution knowing our own dog and seeing the change in him. He went from a happy dog to a sad and wanting to spend time alone dog. He s been trialled for suspected thyroid issues at our request but to no prevail. This is the 3rd time we tested for Cushing s but we asked to trial this medication too and it is assumed based on his cortisone levels coming down and his behavioural change that this is what it was all along. Phil hasn t shown any interest in playing in years! He has a long way to go after being less active than we would have wanted to for a while but his will is there! He s instigating play again, he s vocal, he spends more time in the room with us and he wants to sleep beside Amelia at night again it s like our old Phil is slowly coming back it s amazing! We re so happy we never gave up on him despite costs and we are hopeful his fur will start to grow back too as we have seen many stories of this. Here s hoping!
Another reason to consider when thinking about owning a BIG dog! They are strong and these dogs are stubborn, sometimes not the best combination haha
ok so this husky is going to do more work than shed fur and poop! Could you guess by the picture?? We have nearly 2 acres to look after, not all of which is grass but there s a lot more than the 25m2 we replaced with AstroTurf at our last house haha. Amelia loves her baby tractor as she calls it. These are the memories that last riding on Dad s lap and playing around in the sun with freshly cut grass smell. Although I never realised i must have hay fever until today! it must be the pregnancy....
We’ll she brushes what’s left of it! Phil decided he was going to try and fit in the ball pit with Amelia, I think Milo’s antics have rubbed off on him. Isn’t this the most previous thing you’ve seen today, the love these two have for one another
Phil, Niko and Teddy love to be with Mia in her playroom! Today was no exception! The rain was keeping us inside but that didn’t spoil the day we managed to make the best of it!
Now that we live in the middle of nowhere out in the country Teddy is rarely on lead. Come join us for our bike ride along country roads by our house! teddy’s only 2 years old and needs a lot more exercise to tire him out in comparison to Phil and Niko who are 7-8 years old!
It s fascinating to watch animals interact with each other. These two surely were intrigued by the encounter! Teddy is such a predictable dog haha
So we had to take Teddy to the vets to make sure what we were doing was right and on track. Little Amelia is very concerned and always want to make sure her furry friends are well looked after, she has to make sure they are fixed haha. She has a little doctor s kit at home and always practices making sure they are looked after now.
