Heading to the Big Easy & Not Sure What to Eat on Your Stay? Well New Orleans has a ton of great food options, and you won t have enough time to sample them all. So here is our list of the top 5 things to make sure you eat in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. Filmed in New Orleans, LA, USA #1. Beignets at Cafe du Monde or anywhere you can find them in the city. They are Fried French Donuts covered in powdered sugar. A mess for sure, but worth every bite. Best to have with a Cafe au Lait. #2. Seafood - New Orleans is on the gulf coast and the Misssissippi river and there are numerous seafood and riverfood options. Our favorites are the char-grilled oysters, but you can have oysters on the half shell, fried and in so many ways. There are numerous gulf fish you can enjoy as well as catfish. Crawfish, shrimp and crab also come in many delicious dishes in New Orleans. #3. Po Boys - a New Orleans sandwich can come in many varieties. Fried Oysters & Shrimp is a classic, but there are many ways to enjoy a sandwich in New Orleans. Pre-book tickets to the Coliseum, The Vatican Museums and any other sight you can as the lines in Rome are insane. #2. Eat the local pizza. The water in Rome is famous and that helps make for an even more amazing pizza, also you don t have to share your pizza so get what ever you want on it! #3. Pick & Choose your Roman sights. There is so much to see in Rome that you can t do it all in one trip. So pick the ones you want to see the most and focus on those as you may get burned out if you try to do too much. #4. Bring good walking shoes as you will be seeing a lot of sights one after another and the actual tourist part of Rome is very walkable, but with cobblestones and lots of sights your feet will need the support. #5. The Pope has his audience on Wednesday mornings so get there early for good seats. #6. BONUS: all hotels in Rome will seem expensive so spend the money and stay closer to the historic center or in the historic center as you will save time. Visiting Iceland & Not Sure What to Expect? Here we have the Best & Worst of Visiting Iceland for tourists & Travelers. Whether you are heading the fjords, searching for Puffins or enjoying the Blue Lagoon near Reykjavik these 5 Love & Hates should help you enjoy a better tourist experience & adventure in Iceland. 5 Things You Will Love & Hate about Visiting Iceland Hate #1. You will need to rent a car to experience Iceland. The country is sparsely populated and has limited public transport. There are a number of tourist agencies that can help you, but your best bet is to rent a 4 wheel drive vehicle and explore Iceland on your own. Hate #2 Lack of accommodation. Iceland is getting better with more guest houses and hotels opening around the country, however the tourist boom has made it tough to find some accommodation during peak summer season so make sure you book early. Hate #3. The distances between gas stations and service areas. Best bet is to have extra food in the car and always top up your gas tank when you can if you are doing the Golden Circle drive all around the island. Hate #4. The temperamental Icelandic weather.
